They definitely should have launched the car in a single color and left the two tone as an option like the rest of the models. I think the two tone trend is going to come to a very abrupt end in the next year or two and it's going to make the cars that have it look very dated. The LF in a single color will always look good.
Totally agree with you. Except black and one white...has any other colour made it to the production yet, like blue or silver?
I still believe in two-tone LaF. Was born two-tone. https://www.flickr.com/photos/121070531@N02/13324926204/in/photostream/
It happened exactly, as I wrote. Sometimes post here picture (full red geneva LF), and still are writing how is full red combination amazing and bi-color (red with black roof) bad. Hahahaha, it is funny. What is with other members? Are there some people which are FANS RED WITH BLACK ROOF LIKE ME, or all are only fans full red combination. And for all which think that Ferrari will end very soon with black roof, hahaha it is beginning of new era, and black roof will be in every new model, LaFerrari started this era!
black roof with a different color on the body has been around even before 458. 2004 zonda has black roof bi color scheme as well just because the chief desginer of lafe said that it was born in black roof doesn't mean that's the absolute truth as the aesthetic guideline. having said that, i still think the bi-color lafe is great looking, just not my favorite color scheme. and the red/black ones are way too 'generic' in the current amount of delivered cars.
i also recall someone on another thread complaining about how kitschy that front spoiler is..but that doesn't seem low brow to me.. i think the look of this car has been growing on those people who disliked it at first, since we don't hear much comments like 'the design language of this car is so incoherent', ' a cut and paste design', ' 'it looks like a 458 on steroid( can that be more of a cliche?)' , ' a remodeled enzo', etc. i think people who gave out comments like that haven't really spent enough time looking at this car from any source, or there were simply not enough pics or videos for them to judge.
you are right. i was just suggesting the ridiculousness of ' black roof lafe starting the era of bi-color paint job'.
A new era? The two tone trend has been around for over a decade. If anything Ferrari were late to embrace two tone paint. 2002 Zonda S 2005 Veyron 2005 Gallardo SE etc Ferrari only began to offer it as an option in 2007 with the 599. Black roof has been available on every model for a long time.
also the first gen nsx with the same black roof and red body, it really goes way back. by the way does ff has the two tone option too? it probably will look quite funny in two tones.
For all LaFerrari fans which love red with black roof combinaion! https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=666566626735577&set=pb.374057139319862.-2207520000.1395487763.&type=3&src=https%3A%2F%2Ffbcdn-sphotos-f-a.akamaihd.net%2Fhphotos-ak-prn2%2Ft31.0-8%2F10011836_666566626735577_1893599307_o.jpg&smallsrc=https%3A%2F%2Ffbcdn-sphotos-f-a.akamaihd.net%2Fhphotos-ak-prn1%2Ft1.0-9%2F1959426_666566626735577_1893599307_n.jpg&size=1920%2C1281 https://www.facebook.com/415812725138142/photos/pb.415812725138142.-2207520000.1395487897./702837099769035/?type=3&src=https%3A%2F%2Fscontent-b-fra.xx.fbcdn.net%2Fhphotos-frc1%2Ft31.0-8%2F1956829_702837099769035_791421299_o.jpg&smallsrc=https%3A%2F%2Fscontent-b-fra.xx.fbcdn.net%2Fhphotos-frc1%2Ft1.0-9%2F1601439_702837099769035_791421299_n.jpg&size=2048%2C1153&fbid=702837099769035 https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=468396259953450&set=a.359823717477372.1073741829.359320917527652&type=1 https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=435820129882471&set=a.407158829415268.1073741828.407114519419699&type=1 https://www.facebook.com/162384640473146/photos/a.178388045539472.41916.162384640473146/732532496791688/?type=1 https://www.facebook.com/Ferrari.LaFerrari2014/photos/a.215178588624723.1073741828.215158981960017/364146037061310/?type=1 https://www.facebook.com/autogespot/photos/a.166033240115630.52105.131337586918529/686408068078142/?type=1
black roof goes well with yellow color... single colored laferrari looks more aggressive and brutal than the bi-colored.......
I'd like to see something like this for a change Ferrari 458 Italia spotted in Florence, Italy on 05/18/2012, photo 2
Ferrari should build 499 more LaFerrari as cabriolet. This way many of you who have so strong and boring opinions about red/red or red/black can have third option to order your LaFerrari. Red/no red and red/no black.
I heard for 2014, Ferrari is effectively changing the front end of LaFerrari to comply with new safety regulations. It looks a bit Sponge Bob, but safety first right? Image Unavailable, Please Login
ferrari should hire you to replace luca. since your superior taste in car design and tremendous display of marketing intelligence would really benefit the company, plus there shouldn't be any language barrier there for you no?
