Without question, I blame both the Dodgers and Time Warner for denying most of LA to not see the games this year. I really hope attendance drops from a lack of interest. Its the only way to stop this stupidity. Update on how to watch Los Angeles Dodgers? season opener Saturday | voices.mydesert.com
I dont live on your coast, but I find it terrible that TW paid so much money for this fiasco. 8.2 BILLION for some baseball games is beyound sensible. I hope it fails big time, because other venues will look at it and say, why not, lets fo it. But, just my gut feeling is that it will fly, and we are all in a slime pit of ever expanding TV and the cable industry shoving it up our ass.
$8b sounds insane until you start to look at the reasons TW felt it a good opportunity. A huge market with the potential to control a RSN and hammer its non skipable content with advertising that they will profit from over nearly three decades.
