360 Cross Brace FREE to good home

This is for a late model 360. I have an early model 360. I figured this out right after I had it powder coated the factory color. Mint condition. I have already powder coated my original cross brace and have it on the car. Pay for shipping and it's yours.

Never mind , the orientation was screwing with me. Was the original just scratched up or something?

 

Long story. But, for the purposes of this conversation, we'll say yes.


EDIT: Oops, I just realized that everybody is now going to think I wrecked my car. What actually happened was that one of the local shops made a custom transmission mount for my car a few years go, which had recently failed. Instead of hacking off the custom mount and trying to weld a mount back on that resembled OEM, I decided to purchase another rear frame piece and crossmember out of a flood damaged 360 out of a wrecking yard. Anyone who has seen the engine compartment on my car knows that you could perform open heart surgery in there, so I had to have the new frame and crossmember powder coated with a two stage powder (base coat, clear coat) and it looks absolutely gorgeous. We put a 430 transmission mount in place, and I am good to go.

 

As you can see, all those holes (with no brackets to fill them) make it look stupid on my car.

LOL - the story is all about how much you go over your car with a magnifying glass Cool on you to let it go free...
