F1 has adapted and changed before RedBull's era, during their time in the sport and will continue to do it long after he's grown bored of it and decided to give something else wings.

Don't like it? Over there is the door.

That team is already here - Mercedes, and if RBR pull out, there isn't anyone around to challenge them. It will be very boring if RBR pulls out.

The sport can dismiss his concerns at its own peril. When a company like RB, that has a huge commitment to sport as PR, questions F1's value we should listen.

They've won for long time. They want to be one of the big boy teams they need to learn to loose as well. All the other long term teams have endured the peaks and valleys, Ferrari McLaren, Williams. The ones who don't like it leave. The sport lives on.

They're not quitting sports. They're suggesting that F1 may be becoming a bad PR vehicle.
Maybe it is sour grapes or just a bluff but it shouldn't be ignored.

Honda coming back as a team after buying another outfit?

I don't think so. They had their fingers burnt after the last disaster when they took over BAR and got very little out of it.

Honda's place is as an engine supplier; that's where they had the most success, with Williama and later McLaren.

That's the difference between Red Bull which is in F1 mainly for advertising, and other teams which are in that sport purely for motor racing.

Matesitch can never be compared to a Frank Williams, a Ron Dennis or a Ken Tyrell.

For Matesitch, F1 is a tool for advertising, for the others sponsorship is a way to finance their racing.

I think he should be totally ignored!!

"If you can't stand the heat, get out of the kitchen", that's what I say.

No team can expect to win or be at the top all the time.
Defeat, bad results and disqualifications are part of the territory.

Newey would probably rather design sailboats than work for Alonso and Ferrari.

Alonso wouldn't be there anymore. Seb would be Feraris top dog.

Sheesh, the more I think about RB leaving the more benefits I see for Ferrari.

Maybe, but F1 is becoming more and more of a mismanaged joke and RB may be seeing something that many don't want to.

Those who are dismissing the thought, and welcoming the exit of 2 teams, should remember that the grid isn't filled now.

Half the teams are jokes as it is, I'm sure we would love to replace competitive teams with the latest version of Super Aguri.

F1 already is boring, very boring. Rosberg MOV was 26.777 seconds.

I have to record the races as I fall asleep watching the race.

    Um...

    Goodbye!

Red Bull have enjoyed four years of astonishing success and this guy is freaking out over a disqualification at the first race of the season? All of the teams have the same regulations to work with and they didn't seem to have an issue with the sensor. It's always a nice way to ensure confidence in your team when you blab to the world how you can snap your fingers and erase everything they have worked so hard for.

Go have a Red Bull and shut up.

So, you're saying that because one car had a problem with a sensor that even the FIA knew had issues, RB should not freak out over a DQ because of it?

I think if they didn't freakout they wouldn't be much of a competitive team.

What is sad is that Red Bull make no road cars and have been beating Ferrari almost routinely now. Time for Ferrari to take the fight to Red Bull rather than Red Bull leave. They compete together and the 'drinks' maker is showing the 'manufacturers' how to win. That is clearly the 'sad' story. I hope Red Bull win this appeal.

If the part is bad and its now been known in more than 1 series the meter is not reliable it should not be used. They have 100kg of fuel. They don't need a meter. They need to race. If you run out then well, you went and used up your fuel. Too bad. This is a ridiculous story. Again I hope Red Bull win. The FIA is the problem here not the teams and certainly not Red Bull. The current FIA approved part is the issue.

All teams have a 'red line', be it money or useless rules that don't aid the teams or the sport and alienate the fans.
