Legendary Motorcar - Enzo vs Super Cuda

Anyone catch the episode of Legendary Motorcar last night? They had an Enzo going up against a twin-turbo Viper-engine in a custom-built Barracuda body.

Pretty impressive. The Enzo did 218 and the Super Cuda did 208 with the limiting factors (for the SC) being aero and stability.

I couldn't find a link to any video, but they show replays during the week on Velocity (DirecTV channel 281).

 

That was actually done four or five years ago. I don't think this is the entire segment, but it gives you an idea.

The Supercuda is an incredible car, but it's still like comparing apples to oranges. I would always feel more secure, at speed, in a Ferrari.

I had one of those '67 Eleanor cars, for 8 years, with all modernized running gear and suspension, but it is and always will be a '60s car. I never had the confidence to really push it but accepted it and enjoyed it for what it is/was and not compared to my wifes 996.2 C4 or my GTSi.

 

What the heck? Why would they make it into a new episode as if it was something new? I don't know why that makes me upset that they would do that but it does.

Dream Car Garage was on a few years ago... I don't think they are produced any longer.

That episode is from at least 2009.

 

Legendary is doing a new show for the velocity channel. I think they must have reused the same footage from dream car garage on the new show.
