I have a local company that is doing some very nice work buliding a twin turbo 360 Boostlogic is well know in the GTR world building some monsters but that is not my cup of tea. I love the look of the 360 but would like more power. I have been in Justin Nenni's tt 360 and it get's up and moves with 560hp to the wheels. So I was wondering why not? I do not see the 360 having meaninful upside in collectibility and am not worried about the motor/trans knowing that I would end up building a new motor/trans at some point in the future. I currently have a track car that is putting 730hp to the wheels so this would not be that but just a fun car that has enough punch to keep it exciting! Or am I just building an abomanation your thoughts would be welcome.

    Thanks in advance

The hot rodded 360 crowd is pretty small so make sure you are doing it for you because there aren't going to be that many people to impress (who are worth impressing IMO).

I would like to hear your thoughts after you live with one a while in it's stock form. All that effort and I would still get more excitement and leave you in the dust with a Ducati for 1/5 of the price! And it's easier to park!

The biggest mistake I made with my 928 was "modding" the panels and rear seats to more of my taste. While not a wild departure, I should have kept it stock. The car is still "worth" about $2500, so I didn't loose any money.. but i'd be even more hesitant to do that to a 360.

I agree with the others.... Do it because you want to do it :)

BTW, I drove my TT 360 to work today! It's a blast...

I use additional value in the premium(like stated value) to cover the additional $$ amount in the car. It's still very reasonable. Something like ~1200/yr with no stipulations(Total).

I personally would not, mainly becasue reliability would tend to suffer. I modified most of my cars (and bikes) but I am leaving the 360 bone stock so I can drive it for longer distances.

    Hahaha! and brakes...

Cost of Smile per Mile, I suppose :)

At this point, my Ferrari has been at least as reliable as any of the other cars I own... I took two 1000+ mile roundtrip weekend drives in it, post turbo. I now have ~3 years on it with just regular fluid changes and standard maintenance. I had to replace one of the factory Ferrari Throttle Body to Intake rubber couplers which failed(so I just replaced both of them with aftermarket). I just had the clutch checked at Ferrari of Austin a month ago. In ~5000+ miles, I have used 9% (F1). Transmission mounts fail due to age just as much as shock... they are a maintenance item. I replaced mine when I first bought the car 4+ years ago, and it is still in good condition.

When I drove the car for the first time(stock with the exception of a Tubi) it took all of about 3 minutes for me to decide it needed more power. Think about it. The 430 was an EVOLUTION, not a REVOLUTION(like the 458). I just brought the 360 up to current power specs :)

I am a "car guy", not a "Ferrarista" or any other pro brand guy as is evident in my past and current cars. I am just giving my personal experience.... to each their own. Next up for me is an MP4-12C...

Let's face it, these cars aren't exactly an appreciating asset.... but I appreciate every minute I drive it!

Also I believe Boost Logic's Upgraded clutch is cheaper to service than the OEM clutch.
