No performance changes I'm aware of, it was all done as soon as the car was delivered by Bob Estes when new, as a present for his wife.

Pics when I have a chance to dig some out.

Nice photos, thanks for posting. I will have to get that issue when it comes out. Do you know the VIN? It looks like it is a 68 P400 with the stronger chassis like mine. The car looks great. Since you posted a white Miura in the UK with a blue Jarama, I will match yours with a white Miura and a blue Jarama in the US.

    Cheers Jim

The early Miuras have really grown on me of late. They look great in white imo.

    Lots of white Miuras lately...!

Anyone have photos of the white P400 S that has been driving around cars and coffee in socal lately?

Did someone say the Museum P400 in white/white was sold recently? Where is it now? Photos?

All leather interiors look amazing on practically any Miura. Just curious, but how can you tell it has a stronger chassis presumably just from that one photo?

It is a bit of a generalization since I do not believe anyone knows exactly when various changes were phased in, but as a rule of thumb the first 125 cars were lightweight chassis. These cars also had a different door panel design, steering wheel design (wood), and a different shift knob (wood). The white UK car above has the door panel, steering wheel, and shift knob of the later P400.

    Cheers Jim

Its hard to imagine that inspiration was drawn from this car below that Ferruccio is handing over to Albert, but truly, imitation is not always the sincerest form of flattery!

I know beauty is in the eye of the beholder blah blah blah... but there are so many "unusual and unique" things about that yellow car it's hard to know where to begin!

@ Silverstone in the Vintage Sports Car Club (VSCC) Pomeroy Trophy.

The ex-(French industrialist) Jacques Dembiermont Miura SV 4878 remains in its striking original Oro Metallizzato no.2-443-239 paint.

The smiles on the faces of the Miura crew in that second photo says it all really. Then there's the Porsche guys - "Get out of our way damn you!".

You are probably correct, i have this postcard aswell. There is another version of this postcard with a Bugatti Royale next to the Miura.

Correct, that is 3249, as it existed for many years at the Briggs Cunningham Museum in Orange County California, alongside the Cunningham Bugatti Royale.

It was actually Laura Cunningham's car, and when the collection was dispersed in the late 80s, Miles Collier in Florida got it.

Now owned by a contemporary Lamborghini enthusiast as of last month.
