I put vinyl stripes on my Scuderia. They are from KiStudios The kit is not perfect, the black lines was not totally aligned with the yellow part so I used a cutter to correct them, but the result is satisfying. It was quite a cheap way to know if I like Giallo / Silverstone contrast. And it is stunning, I love it! So now I will maybe find a professional to paint them ;-) Do you like them? Looks great. I have Silverstone with yellow calipers, stitching, and tach. These colors seems to complement each other.
It's "wrong" just because you don't personally like the color combination? Bit of an overstatement I'd say.
Interesting. However, before you paint them, you might want to get the dimensions of a factory one or one of F360 Performance Parts Suderia Stripes, which are a proper replica. You would discover that the parallel appeareance on the hood is an optical illusion. Something your supplier, obviously didn't know. Some things are better left to professionals. Looks pretty good to me! I wouldnt say it was a"cheap" way to see if you like them, at a couple hundred dollars from ki and even more from f360 for some vinyl stripes that cost a couple bucks to make is again a sign of the ridiculous Ferrari tax....
I opened the thread with trepidation, but actually like the look. *If* I ever get a scud, my first choice will be silverstone with yellow accents...not sure I'd have the courage to go with the yellow stripes, but now I know what it would look like. Thanks for sharing the pics.
Yes! Looks good! Grigio and yellow stripes is a great combo! Oh, the yellow calipers too Sent from my F430 using Tapatalk.
maybe the stripes on the front bonnet are not aligned properly to the prancing horse shield, but it's a minor thing... you have a twin in Geneva btw Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
If you really want to annoy the purists, you can add one more matching yellow stripe. Image Unavailable, Please Login
I love the color combo and as others have said the yellow calipers and shield really bring it all together. Having said that, I probably wouldn't have them painted on but rather get a proper after market kit and have those applied. Just my .02.
the color looks good however I agree with the above before you paint them you need to get the factory specs stripes are very deceptive .. l
