Installed the re-cored radiator I received from the radiator workshop today. Managed to removed and re-installed the radiator keeping the aircon circuit intact and without removing any front parts except from the front hood. My son assisted me shortly handling the condenser as I made it up to the radiator.....2 hours job including re-filling with water, air bleeding and installation of self expanding foam along the sides of the radiator. I'm now ready for the summer season...

    Happy wrenching Peter

Went for a short ride (man it flet good even though I did not get to open it up) and changed the oil. Cleaned a few areas of the engine.

Waiting for a good heavy rain to wash the salt off all the roads.

Lets see..reinstalled the pressure checked heater core, installed new heater ducting, cleaned both heater filters, removed the battery, removed the two pieces of 1.5" radiator hose that took me close to 3 hours to install and quickly replaced with 1.625" silicone hose, cleaned all the hose clamps, cleaned the pipes (Why is one black?), filled with antifreeze, reinstalled battery, ran for a bit to check for leaks and all is good. Just in case I'm leaving the under battery tray off, the spare tire well off, and the brake cover piece off. And sprayed metal bits with ACF 50.

Snowed all day here, went after my weak sounding air horns and oiled the compressor. Bit of a pain to get to behind the wheel liner, but that sweet sound from the trumpets is well worth it.

Took my 308 to ikea, which was a bad idea on a Sunday but there are some curvy roads on the way. Then to the hardware store, picked up a six pack back to the house and sat in the garage admiring those curves.

"lost" my driver`s side window after a spirited spring drive due to loose cable vibration ... just fell into the door ;) fortunately nothing broke

re-adjustment was 15 minutes routine work and all is good now

Made more room for it in the garage and then gave it a bit of exercise.

Cleaned the wheels and (yes) took it for a drive! The rain of the past two days has washed the salt away.

    It felt good!

Took it out for a drive to warm it up, then changed the oil and filter. Of course that required another drive to ensure there were no leaks. These cars are so demanding!

Picked up the 328 from winter storage. It was 80 here yesterday and today. Car has new fab speed exhaust, throttle cable lubed and checked, seafoam in gas tank, and is running like a total demon. 328s are so much fun to drive, a great driving experience.
On days like this, no amount of money (!) could induce me to sell it.

I now have to get a new 328. I drove to work as part of the process of bleeding the cooling system and it rained for about 3 minutes on my car. Frack. Well, what do I do with the old one now that it's gotten wet?

    Thanks all.

Replaced my main fuel rubber pipe from tank to fuel pump.
Replaced two short rubber fuel pipes that go from underneath car, from tank to tank, that was a fiddly job.

Fitted new injectors and o rings a month ago, what difference that made to my cars performance!!! Woohhhhh!!!!!
all ready for summer if it comes to us in the UK

What do you think about the Fab Speed exhaust? I'm considering their replacement cat.

I'm afraid it's entirely without value now. Amazing how these things shrink in the drier.
