    Its not clear from that clip that he actually did disengage the AWD system. That's pretty much what a start sounds/looks like when in Sport mode, traction control off, and just floor the gas pedal. Front tires may well be helping, but rears will still spin pretty vigorously if traction is limited.

    Why would anyone want to disengage the FWD assist in a hard start?
