Just want to see if anyone knows anything about this newly listed 16M by private seller? It has the rare carbon side skirt option. Wondering how rare is the RS color and how many of these were produced in this color? What do you think about the asking price? Personally I dont like the CF side skirts, it looks odd on these cars. The price seems to be about 30k more than what I have seen for 16M's. Have not checked everything to see if that is accurate but seems quite high nonetheless.
Lovely car, carbon skirts are one of my must have options. RS will less common than RC. Can't really comment on US prices except to say compared to the UK it is cheap!
Talked to the seller. He is actually a broker. The car is located in Nashville, TN. He wants the full asking price. For a ppi, the closest authorized dealer is Ferrari of Atlanta, where all the service was done. Funny how the broker said that he is considering increasing the listing price because he thought it was too low.
I like the carbon side skirts but that steering wheel has to go. The price is a but high in my opinion.
This car just went up in price from 259k to 269k within a week of listing it. I spoke to the broker when it was first listed and he told me that the price was too low for that mileage. How funny because I thought it was high to begin with. I saw a few red scuds with prices that seem to be higher now than a month ago.
I think the car is awesome looking. I have the carbon side-skirts on my 16M and love them. The 16M is, by far, the best car I've ever owned. Regarding price... I paid about 15K more about 1.5 years ago and at the time the car had 569 miles on the clock. Definitely not an investment, but worth the price IMO.
Now it is back down again. Looks like all the real bidders balked at the high gouging and it will sit for a year without selling. Real cars priced reasonably sell. Period. When they are overpriced the real buyers pass them over and do not return.
Pretty easy to change out the steering wheel if you don't like it. Small price to pay if you like the color /rockers which I think look amazing on this car.
PERSONALLY I LIKE THE ROSSA SCUDERIA for this car more than the rosso corsa ... I could live with the red wheel... looks like a nice car...
Foreign Cars Italia in Greensboro is an authorized dealer. Pretty sure that is closer than Atlanta if you need a PPI. They will also pick up a car in an enclosed trailer.
