Nothing, my bad. I was just thinking it was a video showing the customers actually running them hard. Not some 2 min video with only 45 secs of snippets of the cars cruzing around.

You can rest assured that a number of publications will get their hands on a LF and we will hear all about how awful and disappointing it really is

As for driving impressions/ in-car video - a member here is awaiting delivery of his LF and he'll almost certainly let us know what he thinks of it, probably with a video or 2.

Do I find it strange that the few owners that have received their cars don't feel compelled to write a message board review and post footage on YouTube of them driving the car?

    Not really...

Most LF owners aren't frequent posters here believe it or not. There are a few notable members that have cars on the way and we'll hear from them in due time.

You dont think they haven't asked for a car to test yet? This is just bad PR...... Customers hushed, factory not willing to throw their best into the mix agaist their arch rivals. Im sure its going to be one of the great cars of our time, but this is mistifying.
Maybe they're waiting for the F1 team to get close to a podium finish....... Lol. Just KIDDING modena!

The real story of why we are seeing and hearing virtually nothing goes along with the fact that US deliveries of the LaFerrari were delayed by one year. It appears that UK orders have also been affected. What the LaFerrari lacks in performance at the moment they are more than making up for in the damage control department, at least so far.

Fans are happy to make excuses and claim Ferrari have nothing to prove - we've heard it before - but there is a reason people aren't talking. Still looking forward to a trio comparison, but it might be a while and then a while more before everyone is ready to play.

I see no irony. McLaren and porsche have let magazines test their cars.........

It's not really bad PR - every journalist is gagging to test it and everyone else (people like you) are dying to read about it. It will happen - to think otherwise is just stupid. The LF will generate far more magazine sales and far more Top Gear views than the other 2 cars. You'll just have to wait.

Where did you hear that customers have been hushed btw? Did your GF tell you that too?

No irony at all. Holding your cards close to your chest by choice is quite a bit different than doing so out of necessity.

I don't know what anyone else knows. I do know some things that people seem very reluctant to discuss in public. I'm sure it will come good in the end - it's Ferrari after all.

No its bad pr. You can spin it all you want. It looks like They're behind the other 2. And until they prove otherwise the tifosi will have to keep trying to serve that Kool aid. If the car was up to par they would have let someone test it at least at their track. Under ideal conditions. Or maybe the ringers still dont equal the porsche and the McLaren.

My GF tells me lots of things. She's in the motorsports business. If they test it at laguna Seca she will be there. She knows first hand how Ferrari conduct vehicle test.

Art doesn't need marketing or PR, if you need to explain it, you've already lost. ;)

Your right, its art. Its made to be looked at, not driven. I guess its lost then. Not all art is good my friend. A lot of art Sells not because its good, but because of who the artist was.

Laf is best looking super car of all time. Actually manages to make the speci look wimpy, narrow, and the stripe (which i normally like) silly. What a car.
