Derik- Do they have 575 embossed on the muffler cans?

 

Taz if his don't I have just come into two that do (gen2's), they have the 575 embossed. Available if someone needs.

What is the primary difference between Gen 1 and Gen 2 Tubis?

 

Gen1 sound better meaner but drone at around 2700rpm. Gen1 sound is just at the point below hey look at me sound. I would like them louder but do not like the attention.

Gen2 no drone but more tame but still light years better sound than stock.

From what I understand the Gen 2 Tubi's "575" stamped, are the quieter of the two. The Tubi's in my possession are "575" stamped. The "575" pieces are said not to have resonance. Neither Gen 1 or Gen 2 would be comparable with stock or standard exhaust, both have more tone. If you have a resonator on your car, found on 550's and early 575's in the US, they will be quieter than a car without a resonator.
