it do not belongs to this thread but i post it here, if any one knows about it. As a die hard ferrari fan i always dreaming about a laferrari based sp car or special series laferrari, that will be much lighter(ferrari targeted 1000kg), futuristic. Do not have traditional rear lights or attached in a very different way ,have glass canopy roof. www.ferrarichat.com/forum/special-projects-concept-cars/442406-sp-america.html

It looks like Grigio Titano and the car is single colored. No more pictures.

What is that red looking hose on the left? It looks a little out of place.

It's on all of them - it is a section of the bright orange HICAP electical cables that run to the HYKERS unit at the back of the transmission.

What's with the inner exhaust pipes? The outside ones look fine but the inners almost look tacked on!

The picture of the exposed engine and rear frame is one of the old test mules and not a finished example.

Perhaps you'd care to share an example of the production version to show us the difference?

I wouldn't count on it being any different - the LaFerrari's mufflers have two exits - one large outer one and a smaller inner one depicted below. This allows them to vary the back pressure with a valve at low RPMs versus high RPMs to reduce noise, improve efficiency and also performance. The Enzo was much the same as is the F12 that the LaFerrari's engine is derived from.

Didn't claim there was any difference, just pointed out that the picture you posted was an old test mule :)

There's clearly an implication in what you wrote that a later car would somehow be different - as if the prototype nature here is an explanation for why it looks odd.

I'm just wondering if you actually bother to study the technical aspects these cars you defend so profusely? It never seems that way.

Read my post again. I simply stated what was obvious to you but what may not be obvious to others.

Do I study the technical aspects? Yes, but definitely not to the same bizarre, pedantic extent as you do anyway. Do I have to be a mechanical engineer to have an interest and express an opinion on these cars now?

If I were buying a million dollar super car, that orange cable would bother me. Maybe they should have done that section in black. Just my opinion.

I may not be perfect but at least the majority of my posts are helpful and attempt to educate others. The same can not be said for much of what you write here.

Orange cables on hybrids and electric vehicles are an industry standard to identify them as carrying high voltage. Ferrari could have done a better job concealing the ones that are bothering you, but changing the color would not be wise.
