    LOL. U mad, bro?

Can't afford? Try, not dumb enough to. I have a McLaren and you don't. I pocketed your $80K when you sold me your car for a whopping $100K less than you paid for it. How'd it feel writing me that check? At least some people who made equally bad decision are happy with their purchase.

I don't need to be first on the block when my car sits in a garage halfway around the world 10-11 months out of the year. The 12C is for use when I'm on vacation.

Just own up to your bonehead purchase and let it go. Go and buy a V8 Ferrari already so we don't have to hear you whine about these things anymore.

I love that you went out of your way to go look up my posts on other forums. How absolutely pathetic.

BTW, your parents don't know what they **** they're talking about. Guess they never taught you about opportunity cost in low interest rate environments. Guess what? You'd have probably another $1-2M had you financed your cars in 2009 instead of paying cash. Congrats on paying cash for two depreciating assets instead of financing them and buying SPY which is up at least 100% over the last few years. Could have made $1M sitting on your ass, but I guess you know something that I don't when it comes to buying cars.

You can steer clear of my cars all you'd like. I use them like they were any other car. I'm guessing you're one of those guys with 200% clear bra coverage, skid pads, and a towel on your passenger sear. I'll dump my stone chipped and scraped McLaren in a few years and someone will gladly pick it up, just like the R8, because I'll sell it at a fair price to slight discount just to get it out of the garage and not deal with it. I'll change the oil regularly and call it a day.

As for my insurance, another hilarious comment. Why would I pay full coverage on a car sitting in a garage for 10-11 months per year? The math works out. Then again, your lack of understand on paying cash vs financing tells me you that math might not be your best subject. Maybe you should go tell 50% of the McLaren owners they are poor for using State Farm. Half the people in that thread use State Farm. Half the people on Fchat probably even use it.

Keep fishing, dude. You just look pathetic.

What do you feel are important marketing tools for an exotic car company? There really isn't that much marketing going on in the world of exotics. It's very niche and very targeted marketing.

I don't believe there are any major difference in exotic brand marketing outside of some just having vastly more established names.

Too funny, kid. You are the one who can't buy anything for cash and begs bankers for a loan to buy a car he can't really afford ... LMFAO !!
BTW, I traded my car; I didn't lose any more than I ever do when I trade. Poor schlemiel you, on the other hand, will be losing half of the amount that you borrowed: You are underwater, bro !!! How does it feel to owe waaaay more than your ride is worth ?? Don't be mad... Glub, glub.
Nice phony bragging about 11 months on vacation? Sure you do....Like I said: You are making an ass of yourself. But, it suits you well .... Ha ha.
You should have gotten the Ferrari, but I'll bet they snubbed you when you went looking for an F car. Ya' can't blame them, they know a poser the minute they swish in.
Look at the bright side ===>Posers are fun to slap around. Get used to it. ;)

You mad because I knew how to use the Internet?

And you misunderstand. I'm not on vacation 11 months of the year. I'm on vacation 12 months of the year, I just don't consider my daily routine vacation.

The truth is more that my 12C is on vacation 11 month of the year because that's typically where I travel once or twice a year to hang out and need a car while I'm there.

I'll tell you what. You put agree to put up, I dunno, $25K for an animal shelter of my choice, and I'll prove what I just said. You also have to admit you're trolling and tell us the exact price you paid and sold your 12C for. It should be a tiny price to pay for someone as wealthy as yourself and worth it to slap around a poser.

Then again, you are crying about the depreciation on your car non-stop. So maybe not $25K. $5K? I won't compromise my privacy for less than $2500 to charity.

    Deal?

Wasn't he the kid who sold his problematic R8 20th a check engine light on? What kind of irresponsible person leave the check engine light on? The kind couldn't afford to drive exotic cars.

Nope !! YOU are the pathetic one ...... I searched on what he linked.
Yup, you are a real financial genius, alright !!!!!! One who doesn't even know what agreed value insurance is. A real savvy dude, lol !!!
While your enjoying your phony vacation and your garage burns down, you'll get a big old fashioned horse laugh from your insurance company when they hand you the puny check for your crispy 12C .... Then you can tell them just how smart you are.
I love all these dolts who brag on line about their financial acumen and yet they need to get a car loan and chintz on insurance coverage to get into the game.
How many more "U mad bros" are you going to toss out? It's a sure sign of weakness !!!
Throw in the towel, boy... Ya' can't fix stupid !!! LMAOROTF

I guess the difference is that I won't lose any sleep over the puny check while you'd start a 100 page thread on your insurance company not caring about you. Risk/reward, just like all the investments I make. That's the whole point of insurance, is it not?

Yes, in so stupid for risking losses in order to make money on that available capital. Because that's so different than what insurance companies do when they insure property...

Put your money where your mouth is. 25k in escrow.com

Raising money for charity while outing snobby people for who they are. Should start a website for this.

Wow!! He sounds like someone to steer clear of.
He keeps lying about me complaining about depreciation "non-stop"; My gripes were 95% about the customer experience. But, this jamoca keeps whining about depreciation! Everything seems to go in one ear and out the other with this poor kid. He's quite sad, and I'm starting to feel sorry for him.
Get off the crack pipe, bro. And, kiss your Taptalk for us.

CEL does not mean don't drive youe car. Keep acting like you know what youre talking about.

You'll have to Google better than that though, creep. Last time I had a CEL was a sensor error and needing a new battery. R8 was more or less problem free until the day it sold...

Guess I drove it 15k miles in 1.5 years then moved to a city where I don't need a car for the next 4. Feel free to move here and spend 800k on a 180k 12c to sit in traffic and have no where to park.

Can't wait to hear about how you don't get updates and bjs for 800k.

Like I said, put your money where your mouth is.

Why would I even visit a third world hell hole?? It's more your style, from the looks of that photo I was sent photo that you posted of your car in your driveway.
Please tell me that was a joke, because you are falling even deeper into the hole !!

I'll be sure to tell my brother some rich dude thinks he has a ****ty house. That was, after all, where it was delivered while I was living in my third world hell hole.

Keep acting like a snob. I love that you have underlings googling me and researching my posts. Hilariously pathetic. Or maybe that's just you doing it, pretending like someone else is.

FYI, I actually don't own any property any more. I'm almost afraid to tell you this since you'll call me poor, but.. well, shamefully I admit that I... I...

    rent an apartment.

Keep reaching dude. You just look like a snob.

Well this thread just went all to hell. Come on people give it a rest. Some of us are trying to contemplate if this is a good time to get into a 12C.

    It is!

The higher prices of the 650s may hold up 12c values. But, if the 650s drops, that's going to hurt 12c's more.

The 12c is already an amazing bargain. If you look at prices of 12c spiders and 458 spiders it borders on lunacy for what you get.

Too bad they don't make them in Rosso Corsa. :)

Haha...can't do RC anymore....sticks out like a sore thumb. In this environment at least in my neck of the woods, incognito is the way forward.

Dare I say I love how the new 650 looks. But I've drank soooo much Fcar Koolaid over the years that I can't see straight ;)

Love? That's too much for me to swallow. It's more interesting and much more aggressive than the 12c.

One thing I like about the 650s and also hate about the 650s.

I think their paint selection is awesome. They have a wider range than Ferrari that also include metallics and colors you would associate with Lambo. Some terrific colors are available.

What I hate is only 3 colors are standard: White, Black and a boring silver. All the others are more $$$$. The 12c had the same problem. I was hoping they would have learned from that mistake because there are a ton of white and silver used 12c's out there.

Well love in this instance is relative. Let me re-phrase...I "love" how the 650S looks compared to the 12C. I'm drawn to that aggressive front end.

I do agree with the paint offerings being slim. Actually from both marques. You've seen the prices of three layer paints on Fcars!

Ferrari just introduced a new color for the California T called Califorina Rosso. Now, it does look amazing but...the cost is $9000 EURO.

    Nutty.

It is a good time as long as you are comfortable with the price you pay. You know what you're getting at those point.

If you're worried about the quality of the car, don't. It is comparable to best cars in the world. If youre worried about the depreciation, risk is a lot less than it was 2 years ago, but no one can predict the future.

You knows the history of the 12c, so just make an educated decision on things that you're happy with. No one can predict the future.
