They should have disclosed the telemetry inclusion from the very
beginning - I would have ordered the track cameras had I known :-/

Revise and update your order? Or is the car too far into the process?

Unless they pull the plug on the Speciale Coupe in 2015 and do another 16M kinda run. Still might be 500+ but 350 coupes. Of course all just guesses so far.

What is the Fchat consensus? 370 or so Stradales and anywhere from 100-1000 Scuderias depending if we ask Dannyboy or not?

Worst case scenario for US only figures for Scuderias, incl 16M, was guesstimated to be 450.

Coupes: 300-350 (based off 23% US allocation of total world production of 1,600 coupes, Ferrari SpA sales publication)
    16M: 149 (official FNA #)

This is the great thing about this board. My car is the next allocation so I have time to add the telemetry! I agree... The color of the car on the Bloomberg reel is eye catching. Time to send a email to find our for sure what color it is....

I hope they only build the 350 they mentioned!!

Waiting for the next car never gets old!!

Please, let's not derail this thread and try to limit this to your post and one from me...no way there were only 300 scud coupes brought to the US. (450-149=301). I believe the 150 16m fwiw, but would expect there to be over 400 coupes and perhaps a fair bit more. Exactly none of us actually knows, so it's just my inference. But I'd be willing to bet its over 300.

Since Telemetry is free - IMO it would be worth while to get the track cameras

The Speciale in Berlin that crashed into the Smart also had the tricolore.
IMO not a good choice with a red car - would look good on a white one...

Fellow Americans - funny, ha? - I have a question on the seats. From the option list the carbon seats seem to be an option: aren't they the standard seats in the Speciale? Or am I missing something? And sorry for asking...but you guys are better and quicker than asking the local dealership... :)

There are the std seats you see on the Ferrari web site and most of the press cars with the "mesh" insert. RSCG you see a lot on 458s, a nice seat. The SRSC seat you see on some F12s, also it is in the Business Week/Bloomberg video with the President of FNA on the Speciale. All these seats are in the Order Guides. I spec'd the SRSC.

MikeS...thank you. I see the difference now. For lots of track use, would you advice to stick with the RSCG?

There are others here better qualified to respond on that one. My opinion is the std seat may run cooler due to the mesh, but not by a huge amount. It looks to me as if all the seats will have similar "hold" characteristics. Mine will see track use but I suspect my challenges on the track will have nothing to do with my seat- maybe who is in it ! Get the seat you like the looks of best.

MikeS I could not have said it better myself re: track. Thank you for the advice!
