what a blast this is going to be only managed to get 35 miles on it today, but this is going to be a very fun ride can't wait to finish all the reading materials that came with it though the paddle shifters were a breeze to get used to
Congratulations Greg! And from what I hear from my brother in Western Massachusetts (he took his Vette out for the first time today), it looks like you timed your acquisition perfectly. Please post some photos of your new baby and let us know (in a bit more detail) what you experienced during your first few serious drives. Henry
Congrats, I still love my F1 after 6 yrs of driving! You should bring it down to CT for our Sunday morning gathering sometime, look for our thread in the NE section. Long drive but worth it
My F355 was just delivered on Wednesday the 9th. I've only put 8 miles on it...but in my first 8 miles I was challenged to a race by a Chevy Malibu at the gas station and had my picture taken twice while driving. I plan to get it out this weekend and put some miles on it!
Alright, two new owners in one week. Congratulations Joe. Get used to being photographed and video'd. I let a group of Argentinian tourists take turns sitting in my F355 yesterday so they could send photos home from their vacation. My contribution to international relations. Henry
haha...nice. that's what makes cars like these amazing. they're much more than the sum of their parts. they bring people together like few things can. it's funny that you mentioned letting the tourists take turns sitting in your car. just tonight, I was approached at a gas station by a man whose 4 year old made him follow me in so he could see the "race car". I let him sit in the drivers seat so his dad could take a picture of his son...in my humble opinion, that's what these automobiles are all about. going fast is fun, too
