Any opinion on them? I'm looking at a used set of 19" wheels off a 550. I plan 255/35s up front and 305/30s rear. Do you think the ride on my 456M will bee over-harsh?

Very nice looking wheels of excellent quality; I was looking at a set myself for my 456.
Ferrari uses OZ wheels on some of its race cars.

Thanks, guys. He's taking them to the UPS store tomorrow and they'll pack and ship them to me, so I should have them within a couple of weeks. Then they'll go to the refinishing shop and finally, I'll get new rubber to put on them. My birthday's coming up and I'll make it easy for my wife to give me presents I really want! :D

I appreciate all the good feedback. :)

looked back at my post history; it took something like four years for me to finally pull the trigger on aftermarket wheels. Good thing it doesn't take me that long to make decisions in the rest of my life. :D

Installed today 19" with Bridgestone S-04 Pole Positions 255/35 and 305/30 and went straight to the car wash. (From this angle in the photo it may not look like the rears fill the wheel wells, but the rims, which came off a 550, do indeed come out to the edge of the fender).

Allan- Very nice. The 599 HGTE wheels were OZs. Should generate some extra cornering and braking power.

They did a nice job with the 456 design as Allan's pic brings out. Aging well too.

That's a pretty good price, since you might
be able to sell the stock wheels for that, or more.

It will be time consuming to check the torque on
all those little bolts around the outside of each wheel !

I think Ferrari says every three (3) months, or 1000km.....

I guess I should go out and buy a torque wrench. Anyone know how many foot-pounds per bolt is required?

Thanks. I've already noticed an increase in the steering responsiveness.

Allan- Do you have an FHP steering ECU on her yet?

A search on the web came up with 32nm(primary torque), then 45nm(secondary torque). Does that sound reasonable to the cognoscenti?

Allan- Ask Dave or John. They should be able to supply a reflashed FHP steering ECU on an exchange basis. 456M owners who have made the swap like it.

Thanks. What are their F-chat handles? (a lot of Daves and Johns here and I don't want to bother the wrong ones :D)
