I contacted that seller regarding that ebay-scud also. No track miles. No unscheduled services. No accidents.
not sure if it's been posted here, but there's an 808 mile Scuderia Red Scud for sale outside of Boston for $195k...just to add another data point. oh and the same dealer has a 300 mile 16M Rosso Corsa for $295k
wasn't sure if it was okay to post a link..no affiliation, just to be clear. 2008 Ferrari 430 Scuderia | Copley Motorcars 2009 Ferrari 430 Scuderia 16M spider | Copley Motorcars
Cloth interior plus an 08 that's why it's 195... The 09 command a 10k premium and thd alcantera is also more desirable. Still a good price... Someone should snatch this up quickly
the seller needs the cash real bad or been in a crash on the 2008 scud , something is not right sorry
I don't entirely agree with this opinion. Low miles does not equate to "perfect shape". In fact as most seasoned Scuderia owners on here know, a reasonable amount of driven miles over a reasonable amount of time is the better gauge of a scud's running condition. 95% of the time all the gremlins and issues have already been rung out on the more driven examples while the ones that have sat around the last 4-5 years pose a huge unknown ie hidden expenses ie downtime when car is in the shop etc a few more miles down the road. If you're buying it as a show piece then it probably doesn't matter, but if you're actually going to buy it to drive and enjoy on the road this should be very important. I personally wouldn't touch a car that has not been driven at least 2k miles a year, that's only 167 miles a month for pete's sake. Edit: I know some folks will argue and say well as long as the fluids are frequently changed out then it doesn't matter if it sits. Well, a Ferrari master tech in Maranello once told me, just like a person, the car needs to be exercised regularly to maintain peak mechanical performance. So, just like a person, who would you think is healthier? A person fed nutrition through a tube all day and stranded on a bed? or someone who eats regular meals and does regular exercise?
highly doubt it's been in a crash, Copley is a top notch outfit. I was thinking seller needs cash bad because it seems the 16M was probably owned by the same guy. What are the chances of them having two extremely low mile examples of those cars at the same time? Not to mention it seems he wanted to preserve them, so why unload now before they appreciate unless he desperately needs to.
Good grief...let's speculate aliens are are play too...195k for an 800 miles red 2008 scud is fair asking price based on all indicators except 1 or maybe 2 zero mile preserved cars that sold much higher. Those exceptions aside, Keep wishing these cars are selling over 200k. In 95% of transactions they most certainly are not. Short bus special posters are simply deluded or more likely trying to distort the market by posting nonsense here. Either way, very lame. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

The merits of leather over Alcantera was debated by us Scud owners a few years back. Desirability of either was pretty much split 50/50. In my case I preferred leather over the Alcantera. I do agree that if you plan to track, the Alcantera might be preferable by prospective buyers.
Haha! I wasn't sure if such aggression was warranted as I haven't followed the market, but I didn't like that guy's passive aggressive comment either. Lots of idiots on fchat lately. Think I'm done with this forum. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
There is a post where "alfonso" is saying that no one is selling these things...while simultaneously trying to sell his in a different thread. I hope the "law" isn't as in lawyer...ugh.
The troll speaks once again... Why don't you talk once you get one. Love my Scud jut got it and enjoying every minute of it.
He seems to acknowledge the risk he's taking/what he's getting into. Just because it's something you wouldn't do doesn't mean you get to chastise him for what he decides to do with his money.... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Nah, I think I'll speak my mind whenever I like. As to who the troll is, well that's the most ironic thing I've read all day. Name-calling is usually a pillar of intelligent debate as we all know. You should do more of that (enjoying your scud) and worry less about me, what I think I can get a scud for, etc. You have horrible reading comprehension on top of the misinformation you spread about prices and other items. Can't you create another thread to declare your absolute control of scud pricing? This is really getting annoying and old and we would all like to talk about other things now. kthxbye
Speaking to an owner on Wed - wish me luck on reaching a deal! This car now back up for sale with 23k miles and no additional stories; just recently serviced: 2008 Ferrari F430 Scuderia for Sale - 1625611 - duPontREGISTRY.com I have my growing list of questions ready! ; )
One things for sure- they know how to properly detail a car to make it shine!! Good luck with everything!
Single track - that looks like your car...scud pricing model suggests $150k range...($160k if it has the US carbon package)...so the asking price is right where one would expect.
Thanks man! That is previous miles and asking. It is up to 23k and the seller seems to be realistic about selling it. I'm hopeful we can reach a deal...we will see! : ) Was just on the track this past Sat in the M3 and there was a 430 challenge car in a different group...omg - musica...musica!
Owner decided to keep it : ( I agree with his decision and wish him well! ; ) So...still in the market. Reached out to CNC since they seem to deal in a lot of Scuds. My buddy Chad is also keeping his ears open.
Did you see my buddy's ad here on Fchat? Sorry but it sold quickly.... http://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/ferraris/442984-2008-scuderia-grigio-silverstone-silver-stripe-black-red-interior.html#post143033750 Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
