    Hello all,

This question has been asked before but I thought I would ask again.

My father was the original owner of a 1979 or 1980 308GTS (silver) here in the Seattle area. I'd like nothing more than to track that vehicle down with the hopes (and I mean hopes) of possibly purchasing it.

As my father in no longer with us, I can't ask him specifics and don't have much info at all. I'm not even sure where you would have gone in the Seattle area during that time period to purchase a Ferrari? I know i'm not working with much but if anyone has some ideas, it would be appreciated!

    Thanks!

Grand Prix Motors in Leschi was the Seattle Ferrari dealer in the 70s and eventually moved to the current location of Ferrari of Seattle, and ownership changed in about 1999. You might also contact Carlo Durante at Alfa of Tacoma who has been involved with Ferraris for decades and may have worked on that car.

if your dad bought his car in seattle it most likely would have come from grand prix as they were the ferrari dealer in seattle. if you are able to contact "flavia man " on this forum (greg ) he would probably remember your dad as he worked at grand prix at the time. good luck ! dan
