    Hi Guys

I have owned my 360 for nearly a year now and absolutely love it. Last week I managed to pick up some BBS Challenge wheels and cannot believe how much better the car looks with them on.

As there was a request for a pic in the parts section for such a picture I thought I would share it here. Hope you like it.

Congrats, happy for you! Great car!

Yeah, those wheels aren't exactly my cup of tea, but I'm glad they hit the spot for you!

That is one great looking 360, you are very lucky. The wheels really make her look young. Have you considered lowering her an inch or so?

    Thanks for the kind comments.

Obviously the BBS wheels aren't for everyone but I was never a fan of the stock wheels. I have been looking for a set of these for a while now and even considered the 18" multispoke wheels Ferrari released a couple of years ago. I couldn't find any pictures of them fitted to a car though other than the brochure picture. So stuck out for a set of these.

Have a set of Hill Engineering titanium bolts on order too.

As for the ride height, someone else commented on it needs lowering so may consider it.

if you drive the car, it needs raising, not lowering.

The car is already too low for city driving, I hardly go a day without scraping the nose and when I get my clutch this summer, I will be raising the car. Sorry to hijack I just don't understand this low rider mentality, to me it does not even look good and you are destroying the daily use of the car.

However, I do like the wheels A LOT.

No, normal Rosso Corsa. Maybe it's the sun shining directly on it when I took the pics which doesn't happen often over here.

The wheels are nice. I go back and forth if I want a set or not. I have a pristine set of the 2 piece wheels in the storage locker already. My plan was to rotate between the two every other tire change. As for lowering I would never do this either. I do think it looks great on some cars but like Mikey said if you are a driver there is no way you would want to handicap your awesome machine. Fashion over function?

I think I recall from some reading about those rims that they are a little wider than stock so this may reveal a little more space between the arches if the tire sidewall is in a different configuration..but it would be slight. I wonder if a different tire might fill that space up a bit more?

What tires/sizes did you go with ? 245/40 and 295/35 seem to be best for these
wheels since they are 8 front and 10.5 rear.
To my eye your car looks higher than normal, so lowering to factory ride
    height seems reasonable.

    Yeah looks freakin awesome...

if you can get the ride hide just above the tire well, it will look unbelievable!

Tyre size I went with was 225/40 and 295/35. This was suggested to be by Tim at walkersport but some people with these wheels do use 235/40 on the fronts.
I fitted Michelin pro sport and have to say the car feels better than with the stock wheels.

As for the ride height, I think it probably Needs checking. I wouldn't want to lower it too much as I have a bit of a dip getting onto my drive which currently is okay but it is close. If it was lowered too much I may have issues.
Next time it is in the shop I will get them to check it.

I know heights often get played with on these cars as I owned a 348 before and that nearly crawled on the floor it was so low. I had to higher that one by quite a bit.

I was the one that asked for photos in the other thread. Thanks!
    Car looks awesome!
I like the way the car looks when it's lowered, but as others have said, I wouldn't do it. The roads and hazards will destroy a lowered car, and you also may have an issue with the tire grabbing the fender lip if it isn't rolled.

Andy- Those look great and are a half inch wider front and rear than 360 or F430 wheels.

19" wheels do not cause ABS problems, but tire sizes that do not match, within limits, the front to rear differential of the OEM 360 wheel/tire combinations can. 20" wheels with suitably sized tires will not bother ABS either, but may cause clearance problems in front at full lock. ABS does not care about wheel or tire diameter, just about the front to rear differential of the tire diameters, about +4% on the 360, +6% on the F430.

Tell us more about the factory 18" multi-spoke wheels. Have not heard about those.

I think the wheels make your car look more modern. They look great!
Like others, I wouldn't lower mine either. I reckon that from the factory they are perfect.
Our roads are not great, and as it is I struggle.

That's a horrible sound when it scrapes. Like finger nails down a blackboard.

Those wheels look awesome on your car. I am not a fan of the starfish wheels and I think they make the 360 look dates IMHO. Nice car brother!

I agree, it is the tyre size on the 19s that cause the issues and I think people tend to put the original 19" tyre on which is where the issues start.
Another problem I have been told about when going to 19s is ride quality. Especially on our bumpy roads. This is why I was looking to stick with the 18".

The factory wheels 18" they released are very modern looking and details are attached.

    Hi Andy,
I'm in bucks and maybe interested in your original wheels and/or tyres.
Ping me a PM if you still have them.
