Happy Easter Espada Gods Does anyone have pics and dimensions of wheel chalk and Pirelli belt sleeves . I may be getting some made ... Gary Espada 8394
As originally equipped it was a huge PITA to clean the glass. I think? that's why they stopped. Over here Bob Huber has remanufactured one that is far superior in quality and it detaches from the car in one piece via spring loaded pins incorporated in the grill. He'll make one for you if you want it. Yes this car did not have it. I wasn't aware that 7293 had returned to Europe. I wonder where they got the grill?
Check over on VLG, there were some recent discussions and photos of tool kits. There's a late Espada toolkit that's very complete but it's also probably too late for our cars Gary. I have the cruddy loose weave burlaps tool bags. No belt s or covers. The wheel chock is what you meant?
A sticker is fitted... it's not a grill, like on this one #7356 belonging also to Dietmar-Kilma Lounge Image Unavailable, Please Login
Even that car is not that early of an S1, note the hydraulic rear hatch lifts. But what do you mean by a sticker is fitted? You're saying it's just a decal a fake? How tacky if true.
#7356 is probably not belonging to Dietmar anymore. When I was in Essen on Saturday the car was still for sale. On Sunday a friend of me was on the Klima lounge stand and saw the car with a leaflet "venduto".
Well one good thing is the low maintenance! A first for a Lamborghini ... I have photos, possible already in this thread, of one that had stick on bars made to look like the vertical lasts as well as louvers on the hatch glass. A real mess of a car when I photographed it but the question is ... who made that stuff? How many of these kits could they have even sold? It was like J.C. Whitney does an Espada. I'll look for them. Almost but not quite as bad as that Russian rework on an Espada. Hopefully that's in a gulag by now somewhere in Siberia. WITH IT'S MODIFIER!

I'm but when I ckick, the link just show me the VLG web frame without the content you want to show me...
Hi Gary, No, don't have the Pirelli sleeves but interested in having it. What you mean by wheel chalk ? Philippe 7987
So did #7024 BTW, have someone seen it since its purchase by Klima Lounge owner ? How is it today (color ?). Image Unavailable, Please Login
Gary Over on VLG you can recent pictures of a S3 toolkit including the sleeves. https://groups.yahoo.com/neo/groups/VintageLambo/photos/albums/1015037739/lightbox/1442906372 If tyhat link doesn't work for you then go directly and look in the photos section you'll find it there. Bob S.
I really hate the VLG site now... just spent 30 mind F'ing with a new password and still cant negotiate it . help would be appreciated here by any that frequent. Gary Espada 8394
Are you talking about the Yahoo Groups website? If you're a member of Yahoo and were previously a member of the VLG group there shouldn't be any problem. So what's the story? As to the new format, yes most hate it. It wasn't a choice.
I had not been on so long I forgot my password so changed it but finding pics is really impossible gary Espada 8394
Really? Under the Vintage Lamborghini Garage Banner click on Photos. Scroll down three rows and the one on the far right is what you're looking for. Click on that. When you do an album of four photos opens up. Click on a photo and it should expand to full page size. That's the album of photos section. Photos posted in threads are found in the attachments area as well as with the post in a thread. Go back to the banner page and click More it will open a drop down box. Scrolling through very long lists of photos does not happen in page fashion it's just one enormous scroll. That does suck IMHO. It's not nearly the only thing that sucks either. The designers of this new interface began by shoving their heads where the sun don't shine, liked what they found a lot and stayed there. But posting photos and viewing them is a lot easier than it was. Photos embedded in email submissions are still stripped except for being distributed to other email subscribers. One tip. When you post online don't leave the page or do anything until it finishes. It's not all that obvious about letting you know when is has finished.
Hi, Does any body know why there is a difference (and therefore price) in crankshafts for the Espada? Any advice will be greatly appreciated. Thank you, Matt
