    My 83 Euro QV has the black windshield frame, was thinking about painting my frame to match like the 84, 85, 328....What do you guys think?

    I just think the black looks so much better. Especially with the black top on.

    If I ever paint my 84 red, she's getting black A pillars.

    I love the black on mine. Also its a cool way to distinguish an 83 QV from the crowd.

    I would stick with the original. Very distinctive.

    If you want to try something out spray some black plastidip on there. It peels right off if you don't like it. You can leave it on there for a while or peel it off right away. No damage will be done to the paint underneath. It is a great temporary solution that costs just a couple dollars. PM me if you are interested and I can send you a couple links to youtube for a quick lesson on how to spray the stuff properly. I am redoing my trim with it.

    I have an 85 but I like them both ways.
