Your garage seems to be coming together quite well. I'd love to stop by and see it and the cars once it's finished!
Nice! Love all that open clean span space! What kind of setup is that lighting? T8? Do you know how many candle-feet you have? I'm trying to finite my lighting plan on my project this week.
Yes they are T8's. Recessed down lighting was just too expensive. Especially since I will probably outgrow this building within two years and sell it!
Hey Jerome, Looks good! the guys at the General Store were talking about what you are going to fill it up with.. Hopefully I see you next Sunday. Michael
I'm a contractor that does similar work, and I just wanted to say it looks like they did a really fantastic job. Making a floor like that isn't easy and there is only so much you can control. Even with a good taping job, the drywall can soak up stain behind the tape and wick up further. You cannot tape down onto the floor (which would seal it wall off from the color) because there is no baseboard, and the concrete would look unfinished. The correct thing to do is tape down to the floor (which may allow the wicking) and sacrifice the paint, as it can always be touched up. Also, as far as the dust goes, sometimes it is just absolutely impossible to completely eliminate it. It depends on the area. Where I am, there is dust no matter what. I try and use quick drying products more because of this, but it's inevitable, sometimes you will have dust. I hope I'm not being too nosy, but from the picture you posted, it looks great.

No tv yet. Floor is racedeck free flow tiles. The flat black paint hides a lot of the imperfections, since I did the sheet rock and spackling myself. The black paint also makes it pretty dark in there, kind of like a cave. I might leave it like it is or I may end up installing more lights.
