AUS Ferrari and Exotic Spotters

I know the car. It's new to Austin but has been here for several months. I don't think she has joined the FCA yet.

 

I spotted a silver Mclaren F1 at an undiclossed location recently. Not sure how long it's been in Austin.

 

Hey Mike! I still haven't had a chance to stop by the shop yet to introduce myself in person, but I'm the guy who called you a couple of months ago when my 355 first arrived asking about swapping the straight pipes for stock cats. I was able to get it done no problem on my own, but thanks again for your help and advice. Need to get over to meet you guys soon!

 

Spotted these last Saturday morning in Steiner Ranch. Musta been some tribal clan meeting. Many of the clan were wearing red and had yellowish symbols on hats, shirts and coats. Not only that, many of the clan were seen holding a hot steamy beverage of unknown origin. Very strange behavior...

Since I don't think the ATX/Hill Country spotters thread gets enough love... Mine and another local's 355/360 enjoying lunch at The Domain after a morning FCA gathering on Saturday (1/11).

Does Ron White live in Austin? If so, I'm pretty sure we had a little fun on 2244 west of 360. White Ferrari 458 spider.

 

He has lots of friends here & enjoys spending time here. I'm not sure if he has a house here or not.

 

Today I spotted a Rosso Corsa 308GTS at Anderson Mill & 183, a Rosso Scuderia 458 Spider at Rudy's on 360, a Rosso Corsa 430 Scuderia on 360 & a Grigio Titanium California on Lake Creek Pkwy.

 

I heard him on the radio a few weeks back and I could have sworn he said he was living Montecito.

I keep seeing a dark blue(TDF..?) 360 with polished wheels around 183/McNeil/Lake Line area.

 

I figure you guys from Dave's shop would know most of the local cars (and owners) on sight better than any of us.

 

Are there any local austin Ferrari get togethers?

 

This past weekend I spotted (nearly every Ferrari made between 1980 and 2014) in the Texas Hill Country. FCA Tour April 5, 2014 with the Hill Country and Alamo Chapters. I think there were about 35 cars that showed over the two days. Too many list here but you get the picture. See the (AUS) Hill Country Tour posting for pics.

 

Slightly better than that, I think. I'm pretty sure Doug J told me that another 308 in the group is a '77!

White 458 Spider parked at COTA today, along with a light yellow metallic Aston Martin V12 Vantage S, an Aston Martin Rapide and a Bentley Continental GT.

 

Today I spotted an orange McLaren MP4-12C on US 183 near HWY 71.

 

That's Michael M. He looks and sounds exactly like Ron White. Almost as funny too!

 

Today on 360 I spotted a black fisker karma chasing a white Ferrari 458.

I try to get out every couple of days at the very least... it's part of what I call the "Round Rock Beautification Project"

I usually run up to Jamba Juice by the outlets. Been going often lately, trying to take advantage of the weather before it becomes impossibly hot.
