It's funny how people here are congratulating Ferrari, as if it has won something... For Gods sake, this is Ferrari - what did you expected to publish all these jurnos? It is one of the three most advanced cars in the world, reviewed by people who own Golf's and Opel's as their DD (mostly). For anything else, we have to wait for performance tests.
Let's keep this thread to sharing reviews of LaFerrari and discussing them. Other general discussion of the cars can be taken in the other threads created specifically for that purpose. This thread should not become diluted with fanboy arguing and provocation.
It was just mentioned in C&D's written review and CAR's video review. I guess it's similar to the feel problem with the 918, it's difficult to modulate at low speeds on the road.
And be more accurate with your statements then I won't have to correct you. Thankfully, people do follow me already. Feels great.
Auto Motor und Sport magazine page http://img3.auto-motor-und-sport.de/ams-10-Vorschau-fotoshowBigImage-68e87c3-774965.jpg ...I buy all magazines with article LaFerrari review which I see in shops..Autocar, Top Gear, Auto Motor und Sport.......LaFerrari the best!
Come on. The journalists selected are people with good knowledge and understanding of cars and how they behave. They are certainly not professional racing drivers and that is the good news as the world wants to understand what a normal person can get from a car, not what extremes a superstar can obtain. As for waiting for performance tests, you will no doubt wait a long, long time..... And in any event, what would that mean to you? From one driver to another, from one set of tyres to another, from weather and temperature differentials numbers can change dramatically. So please do as MisterMaranello suggests and quit the silly bickering and enjoy this thread and share your enthusiasm for these super videos - if you have any. If not, shhhhhh....
I believe Suthcliff has driven it in anger. It's even on tape. I know McLaren-people put more stock in hearsay than in actual verfiable evidence, but, come on....
Credit goes to 'PAXAH'. LoL If you read carefully, he was the one who started it, even though I've noticed it before. If I wanted to pick on the car and be a total jerk, I would have also mentioned that C&D noticed a lack of feel and feedback through the steering wheel on the road at normal speeds.
When compare three hypercars, there is only one way to do it - performance tests! Everything else is cinema, personal preferences, feelings and even place of birth...
Ferrari also published a lap time, just not at a certain German track as that is not their playground. Why should all manufacturers play the game of the Germans?
Seems like he is a huge P fan. So far though, every commentator that has driven all of them has said that the real fight is between the Italian and the Briton...
Again, can we PLEASE keep this thread to the topic. There are already multiple threads for you to bicker with each other in! Take your dick measuring contest somewhere else. Unless you have a comment regarding the reviews or a review to share, don't post in this thread.
Then again, I have found myself disagreeing with journos. Fo example, I never thought much of the Lotus Elise's steering feel and everyone plraises the thing... Edit: You are right MisterMaranello, Sorry for diverting. Won't happen again.
