This BB512 looks fantastic, but (all) prices are out of control: here a 911 3.2 Speedster is at 110-120 k euro!! So i think a Countach has to cost eat least twice a 911 speedster, that is 220-240 k euro.

    ciao

i do not know...we are splitting hairs i think
but small differences can make still a difference in value so may be you are right ..who knows?

to me the diablo models are:
    91
    VT
    roadster
    SE30
    SV
    ...etc

honestly i do not make MUCH of a difference btw my 97 roadster with a 95 or a 99
they are all more or less the same thing

the power increase it is not much noticeable, only the 6.0, GT and Jotas are really quite more powerfull on the dyno
also to be said the older diablo cars are a bit lighter since they are more "basic"..small rims, no airbags, etc...
the brakes are better on the new ones but the ABS is problematic
the Air bag pods on 98 is ugly but my euro 97 is without airbag and looks nice i think
i love all diablos and i think to say 95 to 2000 all roadsters are nice and have some pros and cons

once again i love them all including the early 91, very nice clean design
91 was not much sought after but i think it is a bargain!

In the US, I do not remember too many cars coming up for sale from 2005-2010.

Serveral enthusiasts claimed they could not reach the owner of the yellow/brown car with the in-dash Escort radar detector located in LA. (eBay car).

The red Fox car was sold for approx 90K.

    Not many others.

At the time, we spoke on LP (Udo, Peter, Greg, Joey, JohnMH, Emilio, Tony, and others), about the lack of LP 400 cars for sale.

During 05, I could have purchased a beautiful PF coupe for 75K.

    SV - 300K

I know of plenty of 'pound the sand' deals from just ten years ago :D.

in 1981, there was an used P400S, orange, mint, for sale at a Fiat dealership close to my home. Price: 20 k usd. I hardly had the money to fill the tank of my little Citroen that i was given, so i just looked at it.

Those cars finally have the price they deserve, as they could no more cost less than the price of a good restore.

I do not know how long this big demand of classic supercars will continue, but i think that until the price of every single Countach in very good condition will reach the Aventador price (400+ k USD) , the car price will have room to grow up.
