LaFerrari Review Thread

14.8 inches. 2.5 inches lower than 458.

 

A LaFerrari or a P1 would be much better than a 458 or 12c, even if they only had 600 hp I reckon. I base this on the fact that they would be much lighter without the KERS systems and that they have the best chassis setup their respective firms have to offer.

Finally, I think that the leaps today are much bigger than they used to be.

 

And so begins regurgitating of journalist adjectives and comments. I'd love to see data on the prevalence of the word electric on Fchat before the CH review.

I'm sorry, but you do need a race track. I've drive enough to know the difference between how a car feels getting coffee an running errands. I've made the same turns in my neighborhood and on my typical routes to know how much better supposedly significantly better cars are. It's possible I'm just not perceptive to these small things, but it is what it is. Some people say there is a massive difference between a 10s car and an 11s car in a drag race, and 5mph in trap speed. I don't. I bet we'd never even know if the 918, LF, or P1 was superior without timing gear and such.

There is a floor to where things are noticeable. The tub does not feel better at 30 in normal usage, I guarantee it. Just like it doesn't feel better when parking.

It does make a difference at 30mph... if the turn is normally taken at 10mph. It does make a difference at 80mph... if the turn would normally be taken at 60mph.

These things and this usage just doesn't exist in the real word for the most part. Maybe you live in some amazing place that's safe and perfect, but most don't. Normal roads are far to below the limit to really make a difference with such high-end cars.

This is just my opinion on modern high-end cars in general. I've never and will probably never drive either of these, but it's been my experience with exotics in general.

 

It looks that other articles, videos and photos LaFerrari review come 26.5, in this moment can only waiting, but when you everyday looks on LaFerrari review videos, it is good.

 

Twitter profile describes him as "McLaren fan, Industrial Design student.". Every single post on his Twitter seems to be about McLaren. Header photo is, of course, a McLaren P1.

Facebook page is more or less the same. Picture after picture of various McLarens. Actual Facebook custom URL is "Mark.McLaren.Dennis" (not joking about that..Dennis part is very strange).

Very active on McLaren Life but spends a considerable amount of his time on Ferrari Chat, never has anything positive to say about Ferrari, only says good things about McLaren.

If we're dumb, ignorant and biased rolleyes then what does that make him? Idiot...

 

thank you for the post. and good reasons too. but i am sure you will be warned. funny how this forum has double standard towards different members rolleyes, talking about carrying a conversation like an adult.

 

that's exactly why i posted these two links in the first place. it was a response to your quote of him from mclife. a person who accuses majority of forum members ( especially the part of the forum where is active at) with insulting words. and i was warned for personal attack. good job moderator.

personal pages like these can show you what type of person you are 'debating' against, see if it is worth it. it is no more insulting than calling people ignorant and dumb.

 

i think the definition of personal attack is very ambiguous. for that person saying " i don't just hate these cars, i own them" is a passively aggressive personal attack to those he was 'debating' against if you look at it in context. and that's not moderated.

918's CoG is ~14 inches..

As a result, the center of gravity is approximately 14 inches, five inches lower than in the current 911 Carrera.

All of the pages are I shared are public, it's up to him to change privacy settings if he doesn't want them to be seen. Considering his username is his actual name I doubt that's the case. I don't really see that as a personal attack, rather an observation.

Its really unfortunate that this thread has once again been about McLaren when this is a Ferrari forum.

 

how's it not one to those that are not subscribed? if there were a rule of subscribing before posting, i am fine with that.
if you have noticed most of the stuff i typed on here i am calling the trolls out who have been infesting this forum with negative comments and attitude.

As a frequent reader here I'm very pleased to read interesting things about Ferrari, but systematic attacks are really really boring.
I sincerely hope this Forum will find solutions against trouble makers.
