Has anybody replace a series 1 lower valance with series 2. I was trying to source out a replacement for my '75 and was persuaded by a parts supplier to replace it with a later type. I even also purchsed the silver wider grille. I was trying to fit it after and unfortunately having had the car and valance painted. it does not fit properly and looks like I would have to modify brake vents to make it fit. Any help is appreciated.

Mine was gone only had two sides riveted to body. Any idea where to find an early version without fog lamp openings.

The version without the fog lamps is from a 208 GT4.

Thanks, i didn't know that! Blümel lists the 208 GT4s as not having fog lights but from what you said that apparently also was an option for early US cars?

    Yes,

Thats a Euro car. I dont think any 208's were imported legally to the US.

Thank you all. I did not know from the beginning that I had the black Bertone signed light covers. Very pleased when I found them. They were "up"when I bought the car. It is a very tuff place to live for plastic covers, but somehow they have survived. The Electric chain saw on the picture is not original Ferrari tool.

    /Peter
