Are we sure this guy really had a driving experience with P1? He speaks about P1 in the same way he speaks about LaF and we all know he has never driven LaF...
There have been numerous complaints posted to the moderators from the last few pages of this thread. There has been circumvention of the profanity filter, attacks and counter-attacks. This includes users complaining about attacks, while making attacks themselves. STOP commenting on other posters behaviors, likening them to children, being derogatory about what they own or don't own, and so on and so on. Everyone has been sufficiently warned, there will be bans for any violations hereafter.
that's what I meant. I want to know from owners, or people who have driven them, that aren't unhinged.
Well it wouldn't be the first time someone has posted false claims on this forum. They come from time to time and are equally rabid, although I think it will be hard to top the performance put on by "cuonuct".
All I can tell from this random rant is that english is not your first language and you get confused. I don't despise anyone. SS said that the Ferrari feels like the faster car but the mid range turbo torque of the P1 is more pronounced. The same thing happened with the F40 and the F1, just in reverse. When the tests prove that the Ferrari is faster indeed, you will get over it. Cheers.
I know I can not win with you. you can not imagine other people can think differently. You can not imagine something better elsewhere. You should banish me from this forum for not having the same thoughts as you.
Would have been more exciting if they did it all those months ago as they had planned, now the test will air after the summer (long after the original excitement of the 2 cars has died down) and people will just be left wondering about the Ferrari. Hopefully they include it somehow.
Never said it won't be exciting, just not as exciting as, say, a LF v P1 test. I'm sure I'll enjoy it but considering nearly every journalist that has driven all 3 cars has said that it really comes down to a 2 horse race between the Ferrari and the McLaren and the Porsche falls a bit short I think the test is a bit of a compromise and not the one that should really be happening.
They will get their hands on a LF, whether it's a factory car or a customer one. It'd make sense for them to wait. The P1 v 918 was already postponed once, I think everyone can agree that it would be worth the wait.
That's Ferraris fault. I'm sure they had a car ready. The cars were seen in public. I'm sure to gear asked for 1.
I don't think magazines are going to wait for whenever Ferrari feels like giving them a car to compare. If they have the other cars and Ferraris not willing, I'm sure they'll still compare the other 2 cars.
Last time around, Ferrari didn't give an Enzo to the various magazines for instrument testing. The ones they measured were customer cars. Why should this change now?
When the factory organized PR activity for LaF is complete, it's over. None of the local press offices are getting one to toss around. Mind you, shows like TG have borrowed cars directly from the factory on previous occasions. But TG is an unfair example as their viewership figures are insane. The reviews (group tests etc.) which are done outside the factory regime will likely be customer cars. Not uncommon.
