It's very nice mode. It let the car spin the wheel quote a lot but stabilisation is still present and touch very nicely and very late. Of course it does not let go like CTS off, but with normal driving style for fast laps normally you should not hit the stabi limit in this mode.

nice I'm surprised it's smoother than M mode on CSL and let go sideways way more and spin a lot

I leave mine in CT Off all the time....car appears very stable for spirited driving around corners. I agree when launching in low gears you get some wheel spin.

World of difference. I used to drive in Race, but now drive in CT Off all the time. Race, Sport and Rain noticeably cut power in the lower gears. It's almost like you gain 50 hp just from turning the nannies off. Night and day.

thanks for the advice, it certainly adds extra thrills, will become my Default driving mode in the dry, pity it's not available on a F430

Good info. I've been driving in Race since I bought last November. Now that I'm comfortable with the car, I'm ready to move to TC. Great that you can turn off traction control without disabling stability control.

I believe everybody should be confident with the car way over limit without any stability control. That's why I do snow drivings and drift school with every car I have (Scuderia will go soon to drift training) it helps You a lot in critical situations

Since reading this post I've also now started using CT off and although I'm still a little wary on cold tarmac there is definitely more fun to be had. I guess the suspension defaults to the firmer setting in this mode? For some reason I don't seem to notice as much difference when switching between the two settings as I do when in race.

I did the search, but no results...
    I own a 2001 360 coupe.

    What is CT?

How do you turn it off?

The separate CT and CST settings were not provided on the 360 the F430. They were provided on the Scuderia though.

I have traction control off on my CS and the car is alot more predictable to drive in daily driving but especially when on the track.
