    Well, not quite.
Cipi & Steve were touting you have GOT to try the Cronuts in the local bakery. The wife & I walked in & asked for them & they staff started laughing. Apparently we were not the first. And the bakery is noted for the JELLY croissants, they don't make cronuts.

But they were sinfully good. Think jelly filled cruller but way fluffier.

Was great meeting you. And Manny's chorus of Kiss my BBA is still echoing in my ears.
    Thanks!

Guys it was great meeting you. I hope that you got home safe, and your car is a beauty. We should do this again sooner than later.

LOL Steve. We got the same speech when we went there but the jelly filled croissant was excellent!

Lots of laughs and I will be coming to your neck of the woods for Sushi and Bolognese!

    A nice venue.
Some discourse on weather the fish were local or not :)
and what kind of oysters they were. :)

But if I may speak for our group - it was good.

I think all the oysters served in Montauk are local oysters. I don't even know if they have a name. Lol!

That was the big surprise Steve. The oysters were unique and very good. Not something I have seen or had in this area as "local". When we asked where they were from the waitress said "puget sound".

I found it surprising that sitting in Montauk we would be served oysters from the northwest. They weren't blue points for sure. Thin shelled, smallish.

Wow. They usually have locals. Not sure if there is a Long Island oyster season. Maybe that's why. You would think I would know that living here.

Had a half dozen at orient point on my tour if eastern Long Island in a day and they were much like blue points if not actually them and fresh and delish. As was the chowda!

    Bob and Clyde,
It was great hanging out with you guys and we will do Matteo's or Sushi Family when you are around for sure. I wish I had made the ride with you guys up to Montauk, but at least I saw you guys there.
