    ...this summer. We'll be based in Modena for three days and wanted to visit the town, track, and the Senna monument. Any tips re: other things to see along with some restaurant recommendations would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

    I've been there once and you already mentioned what there is to see: the track and the Senna monument

    That said, since the GPs at Imola were technically the GPs of San Marino, I STRONGLY suggest you visit that country: The small town on top of the hill is lovely and the church plaza romantic. But the real reason is this place:

    Maranello Rosso - Ferrari Museum

    Knock yourself out!

    As for F1 content: Gilles' Ferrari is there.

    Thanks, Andreas. Yes, we will probably see San Marino as well. Did not know about Maranello Rosso; great recommendation!

    We've done the factory tour twice; wanted to visit the new Ferrari Birthplace and Museum, and spend some time in Modena, which we never really explored...

    There was a great litte trattoria right in the middle of the town across the stream/ river from the track. Lambertti? I cant remember the name - but they had the best Angilotti con burro e tartuffi amazing !

    lambrusco is also very good in the area... frissante
