My pleasure here is to read interesting things about Ferrari models. This pleasure is totally ruined by people like this Mark Antar that have nothing to do here.

 

I'm not suggesting that it will do it in 1:06, but if you watch this video, you can see that it lapped Dunsfold in ~1:12.00. That's a lap from a rolling start, but with a prospect owner in the passenger seat, more fuel than needed, worn tires and the driver surely isn't pushing 100%. Not to mention that it didn't have its soon-to-be-optional Trofeo R tires.

Does McLaren have the apparatus to factory support the running of these cars? Like their equivalent to Corse Clienti? Or will the cars be sold off and run by privateers?

 

Someone on McLarenLife just mentioned that there will be some kind of a challenge series for the P1T, which will include 6 races. Not sure if that's true, but it's possible since they will only make about 25 and a lot of current P1 owners are actually racing drivers who might be willing to sign up for the program.

A source told me that it will have some big DTM features and near 1000hp (it will need them).

 

It mentions the track version having "more body" also. Sounds really interesting, love a F1 GTR.

 

No doubt it will be very interesting and very fast around a circuit! Probably more fixed aero, limited top speed. More purposeful hybrid integration and lower weight.

I can't wait. Hopefully not as far away in time as the LaF XX. Those two pitted against each other would make an interesting read...

Very good laptime round Mira ( but I was expecting more tbh) but the shocking thing is it was NINE SECONDS SLOWER THAN THE VEYRON ON A WET CIRCUIT . That's shocking on such a short lap , shocking.
If you look at the autocar list of cars , there are cars beating the p1 in the wet that have absolutely no right to .

Just saw Autocar's test... IMHO, assuming that there's not something wrong with that particular example, it's not very impressive, considering the hype and numbers.

Autocar proves it. I was wrong you guys were right the p1 is the slowest of the 3. I will not defend the p1 anymore.

 

Autocar F12 did 1.16 Gs compared to P1's 1.22... If P1 did that in Race mode, IMO it plain and simply sucks
