Never thought I would see a 25th starting bid @ 250K. I was walking away from them left & right @ 90K a couple of years ago. All I can say is WOW...glad I got my QV when I did
there was a white with red interior anniversary edition in my neighborhood as a kid...owner may have traded a Ferrari 275 GTB for it...shortly after the car was released (late 80s or very early 90s) in suburban St Louis, MO. anyone have any history on what happened to that car? VIN? current location? etc...
don't recall the piping. lipstick red, yes. had the rear wing. I think it was metallic/pearl but can't say 100%
Approximately ten-twelve years ago, an Oriental in the Bay Area, had a Pearl White / solid lipstick red car for sale. My X, was solid white with lipstick red and white piping - total pimp mobile. I doubt the owner is a Royals fan, with a white and red 89 Anniversario in the St Louis area. Damn Cardinals .
I believe it did have a wing. Most late model American cars have the wing. Positive it was Pearl White and solid red (1989 model).
You're going to have to be a little more specific, your description is really just a shot in the dark. It could be KLA12461, KLA12495, KLA12547, KLA12550, KLA12626, KLA12642, or KLA12720. Most of these were actually in Missouri for periods of time, so the car you speak of is likely one of these. FWIW all show in my notes as having a wing. There are a handful more but none of them have been anywhere near MO, and one of them is still a delivery-miles car. you're the man, Joe! yes it could be any of them but you narrowed it down to seven cars impressive. delivery miles (or close to it) is a possibility-I only saw the car being driven twice in probably 5 years, on the nicest of saturday afternoons.
Thanks for your informative PM, BTW. Personally I like silver or black on the 25th Anniversario. I'll get back to you on the chassis number, mileage, current owner & location of this car shortly. Image Unavailable, Please Login

I kick myself in the ass every day. I saw a 25th about 6-7 years ago for 75 and I didn't buy it because I was house shopping and it wasn't the right time. My favorite car is now out of my reach.
