My windscreen gets loose when driving at highway speed and starts to rattle. I have to constantly turn around and bang it down so the posts go all the way down and then it stops. A few more miles and it happpens all over again. Anyone else have this issue? It drives me nuts. Can the receptacle that the posts go in be tightened or something? I'm thinking of just wrapping electrical tape around them to make them fit more snug but was wondering if there is another fix.

IIRC, there are two small bolts/screws that can hold it tightly, accessible from the back when the top is part-way open. If you can find the parts diagram on Ricambi, it should show the location of the bolts/screws.

I will try this. Do the panels stay open when opened partially? Never did that before.

When top down it's needed. I remove it when top is up.

Pause it when the folded top is pointing straight up.

I too remember reading here that on the 430 model there are two Allen screws that holds the windscreen down tight. View the parts diagram and you should see it.

Tried this out. Allen screws were really right already. Any other recommendations? Tape around the posts?

Sorry I only have a 360 Spider so I have no experience on the 430.

Mine stays put, snug, no rattle problems at any speed.

How about if you apply heavy duty heat shrink to the posts?
