was driving my 89 mondial-t and stepped on the breaks and....
no breaks, pedal went to the floor.
got home pulled all the plugs off the break ECU and relays just to check and put them all back together, started it up and the breaks worked ok.
anybody run into this to a resolution ?

Check you master cylinder for a fluid leak. That happened to my clutch when it had a leak.

no fluid leaks, no blown fuses
it was working 1 min and gone the next
I'm doing my major at the moment and won't be able to test until I put the engine back

Pedal to the floor is almost always a fluid leak (absent boiling fluid on the track or extremely spirited driving) . Even if the power assist (if available) goes out, you just get a hard pedal, not pedal to the floor.

Interested to see what you find....

    Regards,
    Jerry

We had that with a year old model F150 a couple years ago at work. First time guy got charged with preventable accident on it. County central maintenance and Ford could never isolate the problem but it occurred randomly a couple more times with 2 different drivers before we got rid of it with under 20k miles and only year and half old. Only happened about one time in a thousand-- but 99.9% of the time is not good enough for brakes.
