Racing Stripes

Between this and the boxer paint scheme question earlier today, I am starting to feel like a Debbie Downer but, no, the stripes are not for me.

 

Juvenile.

 

I had 'em on my first car, a red '63 Corvair/white racing stripes. I thought it was really *****IN! I was 17...

I think the stripes can be nice.

 

IMHO, just on the track, it's tacky on the street. Lost

 

What difference does it make? It is that guys car and he can play with as he wants. If he did it to my car, I would need to change my underwear.

 

I think it looks ok but I wouldn't do it to my car. To each his own right!?

 

Boxer paint scheme was a factory option though. 360CS stripes were not.

Be careful guys, someone will get the idea to start a thread titled " let's see your underwear "

 

I one had a 308 and wouldn't do it. Then again, I did stripe my 360.

In the end, it's his car and reversible for the next custodian.

+1 If you want to be a traditionalist and keep the car as origional, fine, don't stripe it. If you want to have fun, have at it!

 

Stripes are relatively easy to remove or change
