I would suggest shipping it as both I've driven from pickup points had some layover time due to 'issues'....but, still never stopped me from driving it....then again I'm dumb for every buying a Ferrari so what do I know.

Intercity is excellent. There are lots of excellent enclosed carriers, like ones mentioned, Passport, etc. May also want to try JP Logistics, they do a lot of work for Penske in Vegas. I found the prices for all carriers to be competitive. So would not nickle and dime to get lowest price with a questionable carrier. I do give a gratuity up front and at delivery to driver, it is not easy work.

In fairness, it looks as though the lift gate extension might have broken in this case, as it is on the ground beneath the car.....

I drove mine home from San Diego to Seattle, 2 day trip in November.

Best drive in the car ever.

I did take the car to a F-mechanic and got an oil change and had him look over of the car just for piece of mind.

It's pretty close to "one dollar per mile".....but we did San Francisco to Las vegas no problems.

Can't speak highly enough of Chris.

I would guess you are looking at $400-500.

    Good luck.

    Wow.

I don't know anyone that likes having their cars transported...unloading/loading always scares me.

The absolute best is Exotic Car Transport, 1207 E Story Rd, Winter Garden, FL 34787 (407) 654-9949 Exotic Car Transport of Orlando. I was obsessed about transporting my first Ferrari and they are a company that is not to big. They are the right size to be extremely conscientious and give great service. If you speak to Jan tell her Domenic recommended you.

My first drive - ride - in a Ferrari was me driving from Greensboro, N.C., to Dallas... the first 80 miles was in a rain of hippos and elephants, not cats and dogs... the car handled wonderfully.

The following morning the sun was out, the air crisp, and I drove 500 miles with the windows down... it was glorious. Since then I've put 11,000 miles on the car.

It's now my daily driver, replacing a C6 Corvette with 126,000 miles on the clock.

As others have said, pick up the car, drive it home.... you'll be glad you did.
