My $.02: I like the midrange torque and the power-to-weight of turbo motors. I like the throttle response, powerband linearity, and sound of N/A motors. If Ferrari can make a 458T with 670HP and a big fat midrange, with a Ferrari soundtrack, and there's no discernible turbo lag -- count me in.

Random rant... Fact is that the F40 sounds much worse than the 599. Never liked turbos...

I totally agree with this. I care about sound and feel a lot more than stats. I don't want to spend $300K on a turbo charged car.

+458. My neighbor's turbo s sounds like a Hoover vacuum. Whoosh!! For some reason his dog barks loudly to the f-car exhaust. Both my Cali with vacuum lines pulled and now my spider. The glorious song of the exhaust as I come down the block followed by manic barking from across the street. Even a canine is cognizant of the lameness of a turbo charged exhaust;)

Sound is more important for you than +100hp up to 670hp, more important than additional massive torque? Are you musician? ;)

And why is the sound of the 458 suddenly so great? On the 458's the best-selling tuning parts are exhaust systems!

100hp? so? everyone can install turbo you don't need to ask Ferrari to do it, sound is important, Ferrari and Mclaren don't invented turbo yesterday, teens put turbo for years in their old hondas, turbo is not great invention but some people act like they would find "treasure"
best selling part? that's only confirms how important is sound

If everyone is able to install a turbo why shouldn't Ferrari couldn't do it then? Do you think they are too stupid?

Concerning Innovation: If I wanna have highest innovation I will buy a Tesla. A sports car I still buy due to his power and performance capabilities.

It confirms also that Ferrari can deliver what they want and customers still have to complain something.

Have you read the reviews for the new BMW M4? The say that it is powerful and torquey and all but it lacks the character and madness of the old N/A V8. Fetrari vould have produced extra power and torque by enlarging the fabulous V8. They have decided to do turbos instead, mainly for reasons related to emissions. Fingers crossed then...

market of sport NA cars is getting smaller and smaller
    -FF and F12
    -Aventador
-last generation of Huracan will be turbo
-R8 (soon or later turbo like Huracan)
-Aston Martin claim that they will not stop build cars with V12 but V8 engine will be AMG turbo like Ferrari

so smaller engines like V8 need to be turbo due the emission but larger V12 can still be NA , FYCK logic

I think that a 458 turbo could be very unusual.
I'm (we are too) pretty sure that the next "468" will be turbo.
I'd personally go with the NA, it's just my taste!
As for the fact that everyone is abled to install turbos.. That's true, why should I buy a "468" turbo if I can install an "underground racing" TT kit on a 458? Even cheaper?
They will have to convince me very well to buy the "468".
I know the turbos are a great deal with the nowadays technology but Ferrari it's a little bit late.
Plus, they're modifying the Ferrari DNA (again).
I personally don't care about 50/70/90 or even 1 million hp more than the "normal" 458.
Design, feelings, sound. These are the main points for me.
Even the 250 GT California is something special to drive.
Oh, it doesn't have 600 hp and the 0-60mph is slower than a Peugeot 207.
    I don't care.

The N/A V12 won't die any time soon. Have you heard the LaFerrari? That thing screams like an old school F1 car!!!
