I think that because all the 458's rivals are yet turbos (McLaren etc).
If the 458 will stay NA it will not be able to keep up with its opponents.
If it was a "green economy" issue, they've could easily build a V6 turbo 458 (like the new F1 rules).
But I think it's just an excuse.
I personally think that the V12 will die.. Not so far.
    (It's all imo)

See the video below. My two favorite Ferrari's, one with and one without turbo, both are outstanding, both have their advantages.

I fully trust in Ferrari that they will develop an exceptional M458 turbo which will combine the advantages of a high-revving engine and advanced turbo technology - including an attractive sound. ;)

It's a fully customized exhaust, the quality video is weak because youtube reduced it.
I'll take some other videos with a digital camera.
I assure to y'all that you never heard an F430 like mine.

I can easily get 2/3 tickets per day , for public nuisance (with opened valves) so I'm trying to avoid this situation

No, not really. What happens is that most of the times, the older cars have custom exhausts and that's why they sound differently. A stock 458 sounds much nicer and louder than a stock 360.

Because V8s constitute the majority of Ferrari's sales and they have to lower the fleet's average CP2 emissions. The V12 are more rarified and their larger displacement means that they can have both low end torque, as well as top end frenzy.

Either would be great. I had a turbo Saab 9-2X and bit was one of the most fun cars I've owned. The build up of boost was giggle-inducing every time.

I have driven a lot of those, but I always decide against buying them. Thus, I always buy N/A. Give me a good N/A engine any day.
