Whilst I love the sound of my F430 Spider, taking off the exhaust tailpipes/tips to be welded this week made me realise how 1) heavy the are 2) the design is less than optimal. I don't want to change anything but the tips/tailpipes nor sound but thinking about something else. Does anyone have any experience with this system from Fuchs or something similar please, I need to have valves ??

Richard - I don't remember who, but there is a company that makes slip on chrome tips. I don't think this is what you're looking for, but thought I'd mention it just in case. Being some owners unplug their valves for extra sound, I'm guessing you don't really need them provided you like the unplugged sound. I saw your other post about cracked tips, I checked mine and they seem fine. In the near future I plan on removing the rear diffuser and checking everything from underneath.

I'm waiting on Fabspeed to get my exhaust finished. I ordered their headers, sports exhaust, and non-valved chrome tips. I might be in the minority but I'm not impressed with the OEM exhaust sound. I currently have my valves set to open all of the time until the Fabspeed stuff arrives. The Fabspeed set up should shed some weight as well.

note the full bypass of any muffling when valves open, depends on how much time you spend above 6000 rpm, I would avoid the set up myself due to excessive sound levels.

Thank you for the order and the kind words! You will have a beautiful sounding and looking exhaust to match the beautiful car and weather in FL!

For anyone else who is interested in learning more about the upgrades we performed to his F430, shoot me a PM!

As soon as you ship the parts and I get them installed, I'll post a video. Can't wait to get it swapped out.

I have ordered a set of these Fuchs tailpipes, the OEM 430 ones are just so WRONG from a DESIGN and WEIGHT perspective, they fit the OEM F430 Cats and Muffler, lets see
