I am pretty sure the pictures were taken in Italy as the sign in front of the Islero mentions "Velocità" and "Potenza". Other than that, I have no clue.
I bought those two in Fribourg last weekend were there was a nice oldtimer market.

    Hi everyone,

I have taken the decision to sell my Islero. The kids are growing and I am not able anymore to put them in the back. The Espada is much more convenient for that!

So as a reminder, here is the story behind 6300 with matching number engine 2413, matching number.

It was consigned on February the 27th 1969 to Edmondo Lamborghini, Ferruccio's brother.
It has a high compression engine which delivers 385 bhp (as opposed to the standard 320 bhp) as stated on the foglio montaggio that I have.

The known ownership is the following: after Italy, it went to Belgium before being bought by Autodrome, the french dealer whom I bought the car to in 2008.

Its engine has been fully redone by the famous Edmond Ciclet in 2008. He confirmed the factory statement and the high compression engine.
The bodywork has been resprayed from the bare metal by Mr. Pierre-Alain Burnier, in Denges, Switzerland in 2011/2012.

    It entered many events:
    - it won the "meilleur ensemble" prize in 2011 at the Landeron Classic in Switzerland.
    - It was selected by "Carrozzeria Marrazi" for its stand at the 2012 Milano Autoclassica. Marrazzi was the original caochbuilder of the car. At this occasion, Mr. Mario Marrazzi signed the car and was pictured in front of it. Taking the same picture as the one that was taken with Ferruccio 45 years before.
    - It participated to the 2013 Lamborghini 50 Grande Giro and won the 2nd place of its class at the Concours d'Elegance.
    - It was invited by the Audi management to the 2013 Schloss Bensberg Classic Concours d'Elegance.

It comes with owner's handbook, factory toolkit and with a large number of Islero related items.

I used it quite a lot and it was always maintained regardless of cost.

So I hope it'll find a new home soon! Don't hesitate to contact me for further information.

Very glad to have help you in managing this "hard decision" to let go such an icon.

Edmondo Lamborghini's Islero is so well documented at Sant'Agata like few cars are... that the new owner knows at perfection all the details officialy recorded like any other Islero !!!

To my opinion, it is even much more documented than #6201 for which they are still some doubts to have !

Hope to see #6300 again in future meetings...

The barcelona show car has always intrigued me with its split front bumpers. Looking at it for the n-th time, all of a sudden, I think I understood: it seems that the two split bumpers are nothing but the same as the standard Islero rear bumpers.
    What do you think?

It looks that way, but of course if you owned the car and needed to replace them. It would turn out that they would be different by about 10 cm and you would not be able to use that set of extra rear bumpers you have sitting around. And they can't be modified either so you'll have to spend a ridiculous amount of money to have them fabricated.

Islero GTS displayed at the Funo Museum. Not sure which number this is. My first idea was #6507 but this car seems to have an engine.

as the answer was not coming to me, I'm currently in Italy and will look at myself...

but in the meantime I've inspected Islero #6012, the number just after my #6009, undergoing full restoration at Top Motors where I met fellows Valentino Balboni & Oracio di Salvioli

pictures to be released when I will be back home

WTB an Islero to restore. Without engine and gearbox would be fine.

    Nice picture!

Here's another picture of your father's old Islero. The picture was taken at the Islero meeting in the Netherlands in 2010. At that time the car was owned by a dutch enthusiast, not sure if he still has the car.

As you can see the unusual blinkers were replaced by the tear drop units.

Can you post some other pictures of the leather samples? Especially of the covers?
    Thanks in advance!
