Now that's a rare sight. There's not many cars an Aventador would normally be happy to tail but there are exceptions! Thanks for the photo, and hope the Jota is still running well and waking up the neighbours.
Are your ears still ringing Piet? Saw your car at the 40th and again at the 50th. Hope to see it again at the 60th. What a wonderful car and real tribute to Bob Wallace and others.
Here are the images what I took last weekends Classic Motor Show of Lahti. Hope you like the images! This was the first Miura what I have seen, could not really ask anymore than this P400S version, which is my favorit of all Miuras. If someone has some details of this car to share, meaning the history, condition and so on, I would be interested to read those. I know the an orginal color was changed to this green in 1990 I think, but what else? Hope you like! 1968 Lamborghini Miura P400S
Strong result for #4155 400S, hammered at 750K Euro (550-700K estimate) 1969 Lamborghini Miura P400S | Monaco 2014 | RM AUCTIONS
#4280 400S with Jota modifications, hammered at 400K Euro (450-550K estimate) 1969 Lamborghini Miura S 'Jota' | Monaco 2014 | RM AUCTIONS
Sounds like the buyer paid over the odds when you figure what it will cost to rescue this car and return it to the P400S that it really is.
I assume you mean converted to SV specs. Looking at the write up there is nothing listed and visually I do not see any other SV mods. But the photos do not give enough information to check for some of the mods. Some body who has seen the car may have more info. If you are asking if there are any modifications, then there are a number of details that are not factory. Things like the air filters paint scheme, vent color on the doors (body color not black), extra vent in the dash, etc. Generally it looks pretty good though. Cheers Jim
Andrew, there are a handful of them in Brazil, a white P400S, and this pair below, besides. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Is that yellow one the same as the one i posted? If not, then there are 5 of them there. Not bad. That SV has the eye lashes..is it an S converted to SV specs?
I was looking for a Miura, not to buy, for prices especially and i found this. Well, this car is from Vicenza, Italy and the guy who sells it must be crazy or irrelevant with the prices nowadays. Out of mind...and it is a P400 S!! Not even an SV. Lamborghini Miura P 400 S UNICOPRORIETARIO DAL 1973...NUOVA as Other in Belvedere di Tezze sul Brenta - Vicenza
It is however a 2 owners and 8200 kms Miura S and original..Miura S are already $1M. Price might be a little crazy but it's probably one of what..5 cars? How many Miuras are still original and in good shape?
Um wow. Nose looks to be unoriginal. Incorrect bumper detail from an SV. Should be correct at anything near that number. Crazy ask.
