Hadn't seen it yet. Thanks! McLaren are really engaging with the masses via YouTube media channel reviews of the P1. It's pretty cool to watch...and it also appears to be an admirable attempt at reaching out to the fanbases across the globe...almost as if in answer to the Nurburgring debacle. Maybe their strategy isn't as black and white as a lap time, but it appears to be having a lot of effect.
That's my fault, its supposed to say wasn't not was. I can see your point. That's what happens when you type on a phone and don't proof read. I think it's called a typo...... Now are you satisfied?
One would think that after me repeatedly saying that the test should be same day same driver that maybe there was a typo somewhere. Think about it..... Your trying too hard to be right.
Yeah this! This thread is so ridiculous but it keeps on giving. In Porsche fashion But wait, there's more! Billy Mays, may he rest in peace.
I have extensively used both cars in the video game FORZA, so my opinion must hold as much if not more weight than the majority of posters in this thread.
Hopefully there's no real world translation but the LaF is way twitchier and unstable at high speeds compare to the P1.
LaFerrari in silver! Stunning. The design has certainly grown on me. Grey Ferrari LaFerrari Spotted in Switzerland » Motorward
Wow. It almost looks like a different car! Red does not seem to suit the shape of this car too well. It looks so much better in Silver or even Black. Sent from my Nexus 7 using Tapatalk
Yesterday I saw one of the Munich red LaFs on the street. I was more impressed when I saw an Enzo the first time. But silver... Now that looks cool!
Always happens when someone uploads a picture without a watermark... When they do use the pictures they could at least have the dignity to credit the correct source Btw, I find the comment "According to people who have driven this car, it is a lot more ferocious and entertaining than both the McLaren P1 and Porsche 918" funny. None of the journalists who've driven the car have made any such direct statement.
How about the mint green P1 with green wheels...is it a sold customer car or a McLaren display car? CH
Green on Green on Green on Green is a customer car. Even the areas normally left bare carbon have been tinted green. It is certainly the most uniquely spec'd car to leave Woking, and while some might expect it to be going to the Middle or Far East, it has actually landed in Connecticut I believe. Not really Mint Green, mind you - I've seen some close up shots of the paint and its a heavy metallic. The only photo I've seen that I can share is this one. >8^) ER Image Unavailable, Please Login
I had heard he was considering some different colors but the level of customization that McLaren Special Operations delivered on this P1 is right in line with what the did on his 12C and 12C Spider. >8^) ER
Were McLaren at all apprehensive to deliver such a uniquely and differently configured car? Or were they just happy to meet the customers request, even though his taste may be a bit different than most?
