I have owned my 360 spider for about 5 months now and I only drive it with the top down (I'm six foot-nine). Looking at another posting about replacing the screen material in the center wind screen with plexi-glass for a better rear-view, I decided to drive without the middle wind screen in place. I was surprised by how little difference it made to me concerning the amount of wind in the cabin area. I could listen to the radio with no noticeable difference. It was a warm day so I turned on the A/C and my "air bubble" of cool air seemed to stay in the cabin as well. Also in my opinion the car looks cleaner with this screen removed and it makes looking over my shoulder when merging with traffic easier. Just wanted to pass along my observation.

I had also removed mine from my 360 to improve visibility and did not notice any significant difference. On my current 430 I keep it on as it does not obscure vision.

I have it in and don't plan on removing it at all. That said, I can't imagine it amounts to any noticeable difference in wind turbulence inside the passenger cabin. Putting the side windows up makes a huge difference, obviously.

And what's with the rearward vision stuff guys? First rule of Italian driving, what's behind you is irrelevant!!! :)

I agree. I hate the view through the rearview mirror in a 360 Spider with the windscreen present.

Removing it doesn't seem to have any impact on cabin comfort or quietness.

You folks probably rarely have a passenger in your car. Removing the windscreen is fine with me too if you are driving only by yourself. I also remove mine If I am driving alone.

You will notice the difference when you have female passenger. Notice their hair will be all over their face without the windscreen on. I know because I did a test multiple times.

Mine is off when I am driving alone. I put it on when my wife or girlfriends are riding with me. I want to be able to see their pretty face and be able to carry on a good conversation without increasing the volume of my voice.

Interesting feedback. I have to admit, I've never had the windscreen off when I have taken my wife out in a 360 Spider, come to think of it...

Hence the reason I removed the screen and replaced mine with plexiglass. Now I can leave mine on all the time and no longer worry about it. My wife's hair is no longer flying all over her face and I can also now see behind me.

It's important for me to see who's behind me. My eyes are always scanning for cops front and back and side. Numerous time already I see cops behind me coming up slowly. I have Valentine 1 but those aren't any good when cops don't have their radars on and are pacing you.

Next project for me are Laser Jammers. I already bought Laser Interceptor. Just gotta find time now to install it.
