Sorry in advance if this topic has been exhausted already. Is there any word on whether or not there will be any minor changes or new options available on the 2015 model year 458? Supposedly late July production will equal a 2015 model year.
Mine will be a 2015 and there were no new options available. Mine has a preliminary production date of 7/7/2014. Will be one of the first 2015's. My 2012 Spider is going on consignment this week at Beverly Hills Ferrari. Don't even know why I am getting a new one as the 2012 is perfect. However will be nice to have SDARs and Homelink on the new one. Wish me luck as three months, at least, without a Ferrari will not be fun.
I have Homelink (love it) and SDARs which I have never hooked up in the Fcar. They play too much music I do not like so I am always switching channels...we have SDARs in all of our other 3 cars and love it. But with the Fcar, I can save all the music I want on the HDD and never have to listen to stuff I do not want. Thus, I can concentrate on driving rather than finding music I like. Best
Home link is sometimes problematic to program due to the lack of clear instructions. But once it's done, very nice option to have.
+1 Every car HL system seems to be different. Follow the instructions to the letter. The little lights on the 458 were so dim I had to program in the dark reaches of underground parking. Works great. Best
You only get SDR free on the FF and California, not on the 458 and F12. I just got mine today and have to call it in tomorrow.
