It is indeed, an 18,000 km from new glass car (RHD)

 

Work is progressing on my garage. Flooring, electrical, HVAC, walls and lighting done. Bathrooms and exterior painting is all that's left. This was an old Laundromat that measures about 40x50 feet.
I would like some suggestions as to cabinets, workbenches and such. I am leaning towards Gladiator Garageworks as I like the idea of casters if I need to reposition.

What are you going to do about those windows in terms of privacy/security?

 

There is an ADT alarm system coming in and the windows will have a one way tint applied

as for cabinets, Gladiator's stuff looks kinda flimsy to me. I guess it depends on how much use it will get, although I suspect a lot from you given all the race cars, etc.

I'm not sure what the "in between" brands would be. I have a Kobalt stacked rolling tool chest that's OK for my purposes but would probably last less than a year in a race shop environment.

That's a great space - love the tile floor.
+1 on casters/movable equipment. Makes it easy to change the layout which keeps things fresh.

Do you plan on having any kind of low rise lift for maintenance?

The garage looks great so far and I bet it'll look amazing once it's finished and the cars have moved in.

I'd love to see the garage sometime, but I'm moving away from the Northeast FL area in July, so I doubt I would be able to make it to the opening party
