Just FYI, if you are going to the Stooge Spring Fling and plan on ordering anything from Pep Boys (Mobil 1, Royal Purple, etc), if you order online and spend $100, they have a 25% off promo code.

Sounds like things are shaping up. For turkey ppl please do not stuff them, as if I thought any Stwould do that. :)

Don't forget containers for used fluids. 1 gal milk containers work well. Please drink the milk first.

I'll be in the same time zone during Stoogefest 2014, but unfortunately cannot attend. Maybe I'll start up a Texas Stoogefest soon and be the only one in attendance.

I just realized that this is May and the last Stooge event was Mid-September last year. It's only been 8 months not 12 so I am going to pass on the oil change for now.

Bruce - cancel my reservation for an oil filter this time around. Thanks

Best thing you can do is change the oil early especially since you ran rich so long. I bet you have more gas in your oil then your gas tank

Hey...I've been to Az twice this year from down the street by Vince's. You can do it. Make the drive. Make a weekend out of it. When you tire of our mugs, We got beach and bikinis.

    I'm planning on it.
I spoke w Plugzit about potentially lowering my car 1/2"-which may require a spring change.
Looking forward to meeting y'all in PV!

    Hey,

Something people generally neglect is to flush brake systems. A complete flush should be done annually and is an easy project at a stooge-fest.

    Yes indeed

You would not believe how much moisture gets absorbed. Just did my truck, when finished I boiled down the fluid and lots evaporated (water)

After you "boiled it down", what did you do with it?

Since I'm not doing oil, I'm up for a brake fluid change. I have two cans of the blue stuff ready to go.

Great idea FBB, I think I may do this and learn something new.
How much break fluid do we need for the job?
