Yes - look who joined yet another forum... on December 14th, 2006. :D The genius is always in the details. ;)

Sorry - I wasn't ignoring you while I was sleeping, I was just sleeping. To answer your question...

Of course they consulted me prior to making that decision - we did it over a WebEx with all the senior executives in the room. I told them it would drive all of you people crazy and they should definitely skip it. I mean really what's the point anyway since we know the P1 will slaughter it. Two thumbs up from me on that decision. ;) :D

Joined 2006 and waited 8 YEARS to make your first post after Mclaren's name popped up in a 918 thread? Mmmmmmm.......

Nothing weird going on there at all. As I've said, I'm sure your intentions are honourable.(cough)

Yes - of course I began laying the groundwork for my master plan many years before McLaren Automotive was even a twinkle in Ron's eyes. Surely he will call me now...

My intention was just to be funny. Glad you got the joke - not! :D

I'm sure the guys over there will find you hilarious as you troll the 918 in the coming weeks and months.

    Mclaren negativity...you start posting. Mmmmmmm....

How many automotive forums are you present on again spreading the good word? You've avoided the question a few times now.

Your crystal ball is broken and you should get a refund on your Ouija board - neither one are helping you here. Your ability to predict the future is only rivaled by your complete inability to predict the future...

Like Maven with his (or her?) man-panties fetish, it is pretty clear you have developed an unhealthy fixation and it is clouding your thought process and making your posts look d-u-m-b. <Yes, I spelled it out for you>

Ten steps ahead of you on that. See, all this time people think I am some kind of shill for McLaren when I am really being paid by the message forum owners to generate controversy and drive their page views and ad revenue.

Finally someone who gets it... ;) :D

I guess their own personal experience with the cars isn't credible?

How dare these journalists form and state opinions based on their own experiences!

These reviews should be replaced entirely with instrumented tests.

How many forums do you spread your Mclaren spin on again Erik?

Now that's an unhealthy fixation. Once again, Mclaren negativity...you suddenly start posting. Mmmmmm.......

Actually Dr.Pickmeron25 initiated the diagnosis of unhealthy fixations in post #9635.

    Nice try though.

That's the only track in the world the 918 is going to lose to the P1.

Oh, and Nascar style tracks maybe...

I'd still flip out if I see a P1 on the road. Looks amazing .

Just this one - everywhere else it is received as gospel. :D

Yes - it is ever so clear from the content of my post at GCF that I rushed to defend McLaren's honor.

Anyway, don't get mad at me because you fell for it. They all seem to love me btw. ;)

How many forums again Erik? You have dodged the question repeatedly.

In terms of GCF, give it some time. You've only just reared your head some 8 YEARS after joining because of some anti Mclaren posts. You won't be able to resist.

Gingy, you really have problem. Why you can not concentrate on writing about aspects of LaFerrari? Why you always find necessary to make fighting with Peleton25? He is much more establish, knowlegable also respected on many diverse auto forums than you can/will be. I believe you are very envious of him and try to show superiority above him and I tell you, you fale terribly. It is very sad for me to see you continually become knock out from his reply, but you alway get back up, swing at him, miss, and he knock you out again. And again. Accept truth that you are not competent. Forget because you can never win, is obvious. Let me help you remove your mind: Ferrari will be making 650 LaFerrari and in 2 week they have maked reservation for Nurburgring lap time testing, I have seen the proof because my past girlfriend Heidi make stamping on papers, with also fotocopy, this is exciting news, no? Make time guess!

Yes, clearly you are desperate to know but I am not dodging any questions. If I thought you deserved an answer to anything I'd give you one. It must be thousands or millions though. ;)

It does seem to be a friendly and inviting crowd, but I don't think Ron reads that forum so it wouldn't really matter now would it?

the tire thing is very interesting. on that same fax that I saw, with data about 918 performance (and some info on GT3 recall), there was little tidbit about tires. I didn't pay much attention to it, but now putting 2 and 2 together it appears that new 'cup' tires were in fact being developed.
